I hv doubt too initially, but I tried half recommended dose I can run 2~3k no pain, I stopped for a day or two and run same distance little pain back. continue taking same dose, again no pain. So I tried full dose for 2 weeks, I ran twice >4.5km no pain. so I think I will try full bottle see how it goes.

No choice aged d, I tried rest without taking anything just strengthening quad for a month, it didn't help. sad.gif

Run slow slow to catch up with your own running rhythm first and then, improve by speed.
Speed will invite injuries.

Just stick to your pace, don't need to force yourself to speed up to keep up with your friend.

Your body may not be able to cope with that sudden increase in speed and may cause injuries (shin, knee, ankle - im no biologist, it just seems logical).

The faster you run, the higher the impact of your landing.

Everyone's body is different.

Btw, new 'runner' (well, more like jog and walk) here too. Just finished my first 5k run about a week back. Planning to join another 2 this year. biggrin.gif

New runner reporting in... Hi all!!! Hope to join you guys in the runs in the coming days... Eying on SCKL, Climbathon and PBIM.. It seems gonna be fun but expensive for Climbathon.. Hehehhee...

dear runners....i check n even check lyn wordpress....seems like nothing to join till end of june......

Perhaps the calendar doesnt include enegizer night run, kl marathon, addidas nike ING etc etc.....was hoping to join......

Hi, newbie signing in also. Last run was NM Galaxy, next will be Deuter Trail Run in May. Anybody joining the trail run? Registration closed already though, they limit to only 1,000 participants.
