downgrade motherboard unless..
u want to overclock (i doubt u'll get the best performance with that casing) or...
u want to make color theme pc (i'll go with LED strip bcoz u cant see much of the motherboard after assembling)

go for modular PSU with at least 80+ silver rated.

and go with SSD at least for OS. (SSD greatly reduce booting time)

check casing clearance for V8.

if it's just for gaming then you're paying over for some of your components, even from your 1st config I would just change a few things as an upgrade

CPU - Intel Core i5 4470 (since you're not gonna OC)
Mobo - Asrock H87 Performance
SSD - Plextor M5S 128GB
PSU - Seasonic X650
GPU - Sapphire R9 280X toxic 3GB

all the other components can be re-used, this will save your budget quite a bit as well.. the chassis is optional

well those 2 are totally different sized chassis, bear in mind that the Prodigy can only accomodate mini-itx sized motherboards unless you're talking about the Prodigy-M

in any case, the mobo I suggested will not fit in the Prodigy at all, need something like the Gigabyte H87N-WIFI itx wink.gif

BTW, nice set of camera bro smile.gif

Hmm because i wanted something like simple design or like a cube box casing. Based on gaming not oc. Whats your suggestion then?
And thanks for compliment going for full frame dslr soon.

u mean what chassis is suitable if no OC?? hmm... I think it's better to think about that in another way

for example, the Corsair 540 is definitely larger than the BitFenix Prodigy so in terms of future expansions (especially SLI or CFX) the 540 should be a better choice whereas the Prodigy could only pack a single GPU

but the Prodigy doesn't lose out on storage space as it could support up to 5 HDD and/or SSDs (+2 more 2.5" drives at the side panel) total in a compact space, depending on your config, most prodigies I seen are compact powerhouse

in terms of price, the 540 should be the more expensive one IINM but bear in mind that you could get away with a cheaper ATX mobo... itx mobo are mostly pricier in comparison smile.gif

lol looks like you've made up your mind on that one, well, it'll work I guess, not the best use budget wise but the mobo will not lose out on features thats for sure
