My diesel saloon is currently on Conti MC5 (which came with the car when I bought it used) is running out pretty soon (about 40% left) hence are currently choosing among the few listed as replacements. Not going back to the MC5s as IMO the dry & wet grip just isn't up to my expectations. Aquaplanning is just pure horror when on these rubbers. Car is RWD & all 300+Nm torque is generated through rear wheels.

Current requirements as below:
- Good dry & wet performance
- Good cornering grip
- Decent noise level (don't have to be really low)
- Price-wise looking at maximum RM3k for all 4 wheels (17" staggered setup, 225/45R17 + 255/40R17)

Most would advise to go for PS3 but am just looking whether are there any better alternatives out there (in terms of price & performance). Pretty keen to try out V105 in fact.

Based on your criteria, I can only say Michelin PSS! Since you are on 17" rims, it isn't that pricey

PSS abit overkill for my usage IMO. Even PS2. Thanks for the recommendations though. smile.gif
