This is Mike - Malaysian guy living in London. Mattress plays a very important factor in back pains, and I had that long ago until I changed my mattress to the Tempur memory foam mattress… that was in 2003. I have the same mattress still and I do miss it when I travel. So I highly recommend that mattress.

We have a holiday home in KL (Pavilion) and I am changing the mattress to Tempur there. I realised 2 things
1. The mattress in KL is about 2 to 3 times the price of the mattress here in London.
2. The mattress size in Malaysia and Singapore is 190cm long (your height) and the mattress here in the UK is 200cm long. Google it and you will see.

So I am tempted to buy the beds here in London and have it shipped to KL.

I tried all the brands at harvey norman and narrowed my selection to tempur, serta (mid range highest spec), king koil residency. King koil residency because my wife used to have one previously.

In the end I opted for the king koil residency as it is less than half the price of the tempur and serta while still providing the necessary comfort and support. I recommend you check it out. If price is not a factor then serta would have been the winner.
