there is no glory in death.
life goes on.
even before death, while dying, people move on.
proven insignificant.
now, tell me, what do these "martyrs" seek at the top of the mountain?
self accomplishment? glory for their motherland? grace of their kings?
money and fame that comes with it?
are those even coming from the peaks?

sure their feats were great/semi great.
a pat in the back! hot cup of tea on the way home! if they get to get home.
those that did not? you have to admit, they are just glorified landmarks that happens to be there by chance.
