Is the CM V1000 PSU still available or phased out? Seems like no local retailers having any stock for this model.

Thanks, the first already tried. Refunded due to no stock. Will check out with 3rd. Thought he brings only CM casing and coolers from Garage Sales threads.

BRO go to All -IT Hypermart i purchase my CM V1000 for RM699 (don't ask the Konco ask Supervisor or  team leader that power to order from distributor)  smile.gif

Edit: you may have to wait 2-3 week... i don;t know why it take time to order, but it worth! Excellent  Power supply Silent! Seasonic OEM

Ah too bad All-IT is in KL.

Yeah its the only PSU that fits my current build. The modular sockets are arranged at a certain height from bottom, so I can fit the bottom intake fan close by without interference from wires. And for 1000W its the best bang for the buck and yes Seasonic OEM so quality is there.

Too bad its nationwide stock problem. Hopefully can be resolved soon.

Wanna ask the new batch of CM690 III come with rubber grommet already? Any chance for me to get the rubber grommet? I bought the 1st batch when it was available here, i'm quite surprising the case come without rubber grommet but the CM690 II have it
*
Yes, I would like to know this too from CM MY. Based on the user feedback at Newegg, CM US actually shipped grommets to first batch users FOC.

To TS, been using a Hyper212X for couple of months, yesterday decided to change the default fan (Blade Master?) and found some residues.

The picture below there's two tones on the blades, the darker ones appear to be oily residues and are on all the blades. Lubricant leak?

Hi MatchesMalone, it seems to be so. Does the fan spinning shows any sign of slow down?
It still spins at 2000-2100RPM max speed, however I'm not risking using it again. Luckily the leak wasn't extensive enough to spill out of the fan.

Hi MatchesMalone, if the item is still within the period of warranty cover, you may bring it to the retailer to request RMA  nod.gif

It is, does the RMA process require the whole set to be returned or just the fan?

The thing about the 212X fan brackets or clips is that they have added additional protrusions to fit into to recess of the fan frame. Not a problem if you just use the default Blademaster fan or standard 'square frame' 120mm fans, but its a hassle if you wanna change it 'rubber frame' fans like Jetflo, Cougar Vortex or Corsair SP's. The protrusions actually need to be cut off for these fans to work.

A step back from the EVO clips IMO, they didn't have these.
