Hi there,
Can anyone tell me who should I look for if I've RMA problem regarding Cooler Master? I need someone in charge to talk to me.

Story:
On 1-April-2009, my customer bought a Cooler Master Real Power Pro 1000W (Back in 2009, this would cost a bomb), on 4-November-2013, the PSU died and I sent for RMA with proof of purchase at the retailer.

They took 4 to 5 months to RMA it and they called him on 16-April-2014 and they told him Cooler Master unable to repair the faulty PSU, and asked whether my customer would accept a replacement from Cooler Master. Of course, my customer replied, and so he went to the retailer just now and guess what...

The retailer told him Cooler Master instructed them to replace the faulty Real Power Pro 1000W with a Cooler Master GX-650.....

But no choice, because he was unable to reach me just now, so he told them he will take back and wait for further action from CM, the GX650 is a brand new unit but when he took the PSU to my house, I asked him, "Do you think this thing able to handle your Haswell + GTX770 SLI? Good Luck"

So....now we're both pissed off and we need an answer from Cooler Master, what is the reason that we have to pay premium for 5 years warranty while you can't get it repaired or replaced? Sent in a 1000W and replaced with a 650W?? Best thing is, a 650W that can't handle the current system of my customer.

CM Malaysia contacted me via FB PM and I already provided them the serial number of the old and new PSU, with date of purchase, date of RMA, and date of collection.
I wish to know whether is the retailer cheating customer or CM really unable to fix the 1000W and get a GX650W as replacement.

Dear Cooler Master,

Remember my PSU issue with retailer one?
Basically just to update, I've received E-mails from official Cooler Master person-in-charge and they asked me to print out the E-mail and pass to the retailer.

I will update the status over here after I hand over the email to the retailer.

Thanks for the help and waiting for the PSU replacement from the retailer.

Hi Cooler Master Malaysia, I'm glad to inform that my customer had collected the PSU replacement on yesterday, end up he received a V1000 as promised.

I really impressed with how Cooler Master Malaysia handled this complain and the speed of resolving the issue. Really really very impressive.

My customer finally able to run his gaming rig in GTX770 SLI like a boss, thanks a lot for everything!!! I mean, for those who involved in helping!!!

Well, supplier already refunded to my customer actually, the fund has been passed to the retailer but the retailer didnt give it to my customer but indeed they used their own stock to replace the GX650 and makan the money ( from my understanding in phone conversation)

So end up i go goreng and they kantoi, they using their own money to buy this V1000 and replace to my customer as Cooler Master instructed them rclxm9.gif

Thanks for the heads up.
No wonder their business premise shrunk drastically!

Yup, they used to be the biggest retailer in Prangin Mall for IT, but now shrunk to only 1 shop lot laugh.gif
Even last time biggest that time also no business, because the retail price of theirs was so high biggrin.gif
