Alaba, Dante, Lahm, Boateng vs Jones, Smalling, Evans, Vidic
Dante and Alaba pairing makes them hard to beat, Lahm an intelligent footballer and world class defender. Dissapointing season for Man Utd's defence quadruplet. This not counting the number of defence alternatives in bayern's disposal, rafinha, van buyten and co.

Martinez, Schweinsteiger vs Carrick, Fellaini
My rants: Carrick has been rock solid in this position for some time. He's not bad, but not too good either. Fellaini is quite a dissapointment so far. Against Man Utd is the Martinez and Schweini duo. Strong, dependable, bossing around in midfield. Can Bayern depend on someone else? Its these guys that makes bayern thick.

Wingers
Robben, Ribbery, Shaqiri vs Kagawa, Januzaj, Valencia
My rants: Who can deny Robbery? This duo has been terrorizing opponent's defence and tearing them apart for ages. One is a finalist for Balon Dor and the other one MVP for so many big profile games. You can't go wrong against these two. Man Utd wingers? No offence, this is just like comparing real men against schoolboys. Oh, and Shaqiri is a growing threat too.
Verdict: Bayern by a mile.

Attack (Poaching / Attack support)
Muller, Kroos, Goetze, thiago vs Mata and Rooney
My rants: Bayern plays a different style where they rely on midfield forwards to support the lone striker in Mandzukic. The result? Muller has been scoring loads of goals, Goetze is blossoming, and while Kroos hasn't scored as much in a while, you can never give him space close to the penalty yard box. Thiago adds depth to super quick passing option in the final 1/3 of opponent's area. Mata and Rooney should, on paper, put up a good fight, but lack of goals means otherwise for now. Plus, this Bayern's trio has all the necessary ingredients to make it happen, discipline, desire and consistency.

Mandzukic vs Van Persie
My rants: Perhaps the only consolation for Man Utd, Van Persie should have gained his confidence boost again after the recent hatrick. Bayern relies on manduzkic like always, could be a problem if he gets injured.
