Whats wrong with moyes? He seems like ignoring kagawa only.

can bid good bye to kagawa in advance

rather play 40 y.o than him (no disrespect)

unless he is resting him for CL game

which is highly unlikely

i would love to be proved wrong

Its getting annoying after so many games Kagawa had been in the bench and not being fully ultilized

it's almost certain he would be sold in the summer

if he can't break the first team against olympiakos means he is as good as sold. a cold treatment by moyes just like anderson and fabio but maybe he got reason personally. from fans pov, seems wrong to bench and underutilized talented kagawa but from coaching teams pov will be different and we'll never know why. a strong manager needs to do unfavourable decision and stick with it (but of course, carry along with good results as well )
hahaha terima kasih greenboi. wanna bet again? lololol

I have already prepared for the worst case scenario ... but I hope he wont be sold to another English club

I don't think some people here realise. The whole point of putting Giggs, Fletcher, Valencia in was for better defensive solidity and composure. Giggs brings experience and composure to the team with his influence. United have lost composure the last few minutes of the game this season so many times. The experience of players like Giggs was meant to improve the composure of the players to avoid conceding another goal. At the same time, Giggs is still a very capable player and also has tactical discipline. Kagawa was never going to provide that composure because he lacks influence over the other players the same way Giggs has.

Look at the team sheet. Ferdinand was back. Vidic. Evra. Carrick. Rooney. Mata. RvP. Giggs. Fletcher. Valencia.

The players chosen are all packed with experience, especially experience in winning games in the BPL. Moyes has gone for experience to steady the rocking ship and build a foundation. Once the pressure is off the players, he can slowly start rotating the players.

In case anyone didn't notice, this is United's first away win this year. And after conceding so many last minute goals, the jitters were there for all to see. Little wonder then, that he chose players with experience.

And why is it wrong for Moyes to sub Giggs in if Moyes wants to rebuild the team? Why should he only sub younger players if he wants to rebuild the team? Making changes for the sake of keeping up appearances to the fans? The substitution had a tactical reasoning behind it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. In yesterday's game, it seems to have worked with United sealing the result.

Whether you feel it was the right tactical decision is one thing, but I cannot agree with the argument that this was a bad decision because he wants to rebuild the team and therefore should only sub younger players. That doesn't make sense to me.

Rebuilding the team is a big picture thing. Substitutions in a game is a small picture thing. The big picture is measured over years. Not substitutions over 1 game. There are plenty more chances to substitute younger players in other games over the next 6 years. This is just 1 substitution in 1 game where it was more critical to close out the game than anything else.

Not to mention, Moyes was criticized for bringing Giggs in and all that rebuilding argument, but some people fail to realize that Giggs came on to replace the player who started the game in that position. Januzaj. An 18 year old.
