I prefer a more powerful android tv box that suit my budget, with good 3D capability.

LOL I had the chance and got the Shield because I malas want to find and chase around trying to solve problems because things don't work or incompatible. When you get older, you get lazier too.  There's a saying, buy cheap and you buy twice. Also, with the wife on the TV, it can get very stressful if things don't work. 
What is this cCloud thingy? Need to find time and go through Kodi.

That's mean Kodi can't properly support 3D on arm based android box but other video player still can support 3D right ?
