QUOTE(voncrane @ Jan 1 2016, 08:37 PM) Most can... I can vouch for Samsung Smart TVs, some even support UltraHD.... Mine streams @ 1080P with DD5.1 when possible... Make sure your streaming quality is set to "High" in the playback settings. Using Netflix on your Samsung TV or Blu-ray playerHow can I control how much data Netflix uses?Hi, I own a Samsung Smart TV actually and I saw your comments in this section. All I need to do is just get a Netflix account and then I'm good to go on my TV without any extra stuffs? Any catch that I should be aware of? Coz if my memory serves me well, Netflix is not available in M'sia, right? Thanks for the insight btw and Sorry, a little new to this TV box thingy.

QUOTE(voncrane @ Jan 5 2016, 02:37 PM) You must be doing something wrong then.... Samba allows both ways.. Sorry, but did you even visit the Google link I posted here previously? There's a post right in the first page of the results that outlines (with pictures) how to setup and access files within a shared folder in Windows. Accessing windows shared folders with ES file Explorer app is pretty straightforward afterwards.. No need to completely spoon feed ya. Connect both pc & box to the same router, turn in network discovery, automatic setup & connect.. Turn in file & printer sharing... Navigates to desired folder on PC, properties... Enable sharing.. Advanced sharing... Password protection... Security.. Etc... Launch ES File Explorer on box, scan for Windows shared folders.. Select IP address of PC on home network.. Login if required.. Profit!!! Yeah, you'll require a DNS service that supports Netflix.. Setup the TV or your router with said DNS.. Launch Netflix... Login.. Profit.. Cool! Thanks again, quite happy to have access to Netflix without those TV Boxes. Could keep me occupied till sometime next year
