audio HD can play buy will laggy during high FPS motion, video can play no problem la same to audio high FPS will lag abit...
need software tweak lo, maybe AC3filter + coreAVC do fine tune some, then the nvidia purexx what i forget lol...
not so lag but can feel laggy during high FPS la

Specs is okay, Quad-core CPU with 2.9GHz sounds like there's a bottleneck somewhere or perhaps sound card or driver issues? The movie files (23.98 or 24 fps only) are not like playing heavy games on high res where higher fps rates are more desirable. Bro, lets not turn this to PC thread ... Choose between the android boxes for now, then in future can sell off to buy better specs. Sadly there is no perfect box, not even from big Google (Alphabet). Them manufacturers need to continually make profit.

Hey bro.. I using this "10moons". Most important I can't play any youtube video. I manage to download the apps, when I click on the clip, it will show black screen with loading.

i think yr device is made in china.

china made devices are prone to problems with you-tube, google browser and google playstore.

becos google is banned in china.

but they will work if the right firmware is used and/or google patch applied.

that, you have to check with yr seller as firmwares and patches are unique for every device or model.



the other app - may be due to new china geoblocks or local isp throttling for some sites - this is becming common for all devices.

if u bought in china or roadside stall, tough....

got to settings, check audio output.

see if it is set as hdmi auto or lcpm or pass thru.

usually it is set as hdmi auto which will auto detect.

the settings do not change by themselves, but it is possible sometimes, firmware upgrades can cause changes.

A dedicated box? Not to my knowledge. Perhaps you should start your search first in the Play Store and third party app sources for a suitable android app designed with the features you need, obtain the apk file and go test it out on some boxes. Alternatively, you can home-build a karaoke system by installing addons like XBMC Karaoke, Mikey's Karaoke or equivalent in KODI, that might be enough for you. Which means, just buy a box with good KODI, mic and sound support, install and setup the addon. Google is your friend.

Ya, been looking around. Hard to find an android media box with mic support.

TV function is not a must for me. Just able to play my HD movies and in addition become a karaoke box will be very nice.

As you say, mic support is definitely not on top of majority of media player users or manufacturer's list. Sure, video chat can be held via skype, hangouts etc. Beyond that? Not a major concern. people are more concerned about HD audio and video playback. You are better off buying a dedicated karaoke box and an android box separately. its all about your budget.

Yup... The H.265 codec offers better compression and faster/cheaper delivery over lower bitrates, at an almost 2:1 ratio when compared with previous standards. Very important in this 4K embracing time.
