anyone noticed es file explorer on android5 lollipop onwards has changed?

usb drives... can't delete files... "unsupported operation".

now using FILE MANAGER ASUS, from playstore.

don't like es file manager liao…damn bloated.

now using file manager from maple media.

asus file manager also good, but now using file commander premium.

I quit using ES File Explorer a few versions back. Very sad to see the once great app, fall so low today.. Too bloated. Using Solid Explorer now. So far so good.

Sad to let go ES File Explorer here too. Using Asus File Explorer now and never look back...

I didn't know ES File Explorer is that bad and I'm still using it. Easy for me to share files from mobile or PC.
Maybe can test the options you guys posted earlier.

I would have continued using it except, I've had times when it pops up during Quasar playback, to tell me my space has decreased by a certain amount (no s**t Sherlock) and that notification crashes the Quasar addon, forcing me to buffer all over again (addon set not to save files). Couldn't find a way to disable that particular notification and it happened frequently enough, forcing its uninstall.

I thought can disable the low space notification in ES File Explorer settings?

until u have try out file commander, u will be amazed how clean and easy the file sharing on box using its "pc file transfer" function. turn on the service and you can access your box contents via browser on your mobile or pc.

Stopped using ES for years already...cant get Asus' to run on my q16... Now using total commander for some old school cool...

you mean the write permission that thing? if not mistaken the app will prompt you and guide you to make it works.

i swear the file commander premium is the best for the period. it also tagged as editor choice in play store.

premium apk keyword:

q16 is android 4.4.2, es file explorer will work good, i am still using it there.

q10pro 7.0, it starts to restrict this and that, had to go ASUS fm.
