This isn't an app but felt it might bring joy to some lovers of Asian content... Found the site while scouring about for stuff... Appears to offer fast streaming and no VPNs required. Tested a couple of links using a browser and works..

I can tell u that one hour of streaming could cost u easily 1gb. So, unless u would only to watch one hour per day, then you can still explore the idea. And this does not include ur daily social media browsing, utube etc

Received mine yesterday ..pic quality suck .. or do I need to set-up display anything .. I try change few display set up still the same quality .. Anyone having the same pic quality problem with mine .. mine another box ac Ryan is better

Not all android box can run acestream meh? My minix runs proper with acestream. U can opt to use external player like my player to run it. Even my htc phone can play acestream

Having some problems in using sub titles now and then. Appreciate some tips from friends here.

Main problem is the out of sync between speech and text. Yes, that can be corrected by adjusting the timing. Can be tiring and annoying at times adjusting this.

Some time I can get it right in 1 go and most of the time no.

Like to know whether selecting the right sub title plays a part in my problem.

Say if I selected a HD movie, then I should look for a sub title for HD version?

I tend to select the ones with many star rating, but this does not always give me the correct sync between speech and text.

Any other tips on sub title selection are much appreciated. Thanks.

For some begging, might be they wanna have some short cut towards installing Kodi.
Can search for Complete Kodi Setup Wizard fr play store. Juz install the apps, rest are all 1click, be it zip file or repo.
Might be other Senior former here can give their opinion on this apps…

Can confirm Minix Neo U1 runs Acestream.. Frequent usage here...

Such behavior is quite normal.. For best results, aim for subtitles with the exact file names as the media being played or ones Kodi specifically tags "SYNC".. Example:
Media: blabla.1080p.plumberly.mkv
Sub: blabla.1080p.plumberly.srt
Sometimes, it doesn't have to be exact and still work.. This applies mostly to Blu-ray releases or a specific group's release, cuz the media timing is the same across all files, no matter how they are named. I.e blabla.720p.plumberly.srt or blaskbla.plumberly.srt.... Etc..

The PS3 controller currently doesn't work.. The PS4 Controller can be made to work, albeit with some tinkering.. The Xbox 360 controller works fine.. Then according to the Minix team... Geekbuying.





True.. However, there are downsides to one click installs..
*You don't control exactly what goes in and out.
*Hard to debug if a particular addon clashes with others..
*Most installs and use up huge spaces on the hard disk.. Folks with low memory boxes will get screwed.. Typically forcing a Kodi uninstall.. Thereby losing previous configuration.

Lastly, one really only needs a few addons, keep them updated, etc.. Easier to troubleshoot should bugs arise.. There is a comprehensive and active Kodi thread here on the forum..

Hypptv & Astro.. Obviously..

Alternatively, buy one of the many IPTV services offering android apps...

for kodi, the best i found was Superbox build.
been using it for 3 months now.
the only drawback is it is BIG, takes up to 2GB of the memory!

in english, kodi offer some decent links.
check kodi thread, look for adrian super tv, avengers, adrian sports, sportsdevil addons - there, u find skysports, tsn, bein, etc.
very hard to explain kodi, u need to read and try...

china channels - get addons that have cctv5 and cctv5+ - these are the best sports live tv channels.

How's the wifi reception ? Coz was thinking of getting another android box for my master bed room but dun wanna pull the lan cable all the way fr ground floor to 1st floor.
Any comment ?
Currently using my Q10ii on lan with screamyx 4mbps which is ok for the time being. but sometime lag too. My area only support to that speed only.

are u referring to usb playback or kodi streams?

for kodi streams, u must choose the matching subs from the subs provider(s).

for details on kodi, can ask at kodi thread - many experts there!

Rough estimate puts it around RM1xx.. Can be purchased from online stores like Aliexpress and Lazada.. Do check around locally first.. Good to patronize local sellers and plus, it'll get delivered faster and no possibility of dealing with customs..

Yup, using the Neo U1.. Unfortunately, I can't comment too much about its wireless capabilities as mine's only a few feet away from the router and cabled.. I can say based on light reading, that it's got a decent external antenna, supports wireless AC tech. To address the network lag, I would advise you focus on improving the home LAN (wifi) connection.. Especially if still on stock TM's router.
