sifus:

Just one question:
If buy a android tv box (any brand) can we watch the regular IPTV channels like: news (BBC,CNN), docu (NatGeo, Discovery, History etc), Sports (SkySports, BBC Sport, etc)

http://www.11street.my/productdetail/lates...droid-tv-861682
This one was suggested by someone and it seems like misleading as it does not provide the channels I listed above (PLEASE correct me if I am wrong)
*
it's like this question:

"if i buy a house, will it have air cond and lights? will it have an equipped kitchen and a fish pond?"

answer is... yes and no.

factory production: box is blank, like a new bare house from a developer.
manufacturer it dept: add sys ops and firmware.
manufacturer sales/marketing: add a few popular apps (may be up to date, may be out of date)
retail outlets/online resellers: may add more apps, their choice according to what they think is best for sales.
some resellers: take your stated preferences, put only what u ask for, remove what u don't want.

so, u see... a lot depends on who and where u buy from.
after that, u r on your own to maintain and update.
if u know enough, u can build a blank box into a superb device on yr own.

U also said it is heavy.

If it gets too hot, buy a mini fan, plug into USB port.

I have the Melee F10 Deluxe air mouse. I think the performance is really not good. What is your experience on it?

why do u say performance no good?

i have one. it works fine as far as functions are concerned.

BUT... the big problem for me is the keys and print are too small - for eyes and fat fingers.. can't read easily, always press wrong or double. laugh.gif

so, hardly used...

u now have most of the common apps.

the big one is kodi - if u get this one working well, that's a lot.

if u r into china stuff, there are plenty.

later, u can also consider adding a couple of utility apps for cleaning, backup...

just google or search in playstore.
