hmm.. this one is interesting.

the apk works.

however...

.. it is so similar to imgtv, (or mangotv like all himedia box users know) that i think it is a imgtv spinoff.
.. has more hk, taiwanese content.
.. but... like imgtv, it does not work very well, needs a china VPN for HD content.
.. some SD channels work, OK.
.. CCTV and other live tv channels also there, but no as stable or reliable as other apps.

thanks for sharing.

added:

i tried a bit more on this apk.

hmm... it is actually quite good! thumbup.gif

much of it works quite well, vod or live tv.

there is a variety of canto, japanese, korean and taiwanese shows too - all chinese subs only.

180 china & int'l live tv channels, some in HD.

i think u couldn't get it going becos yr speed is lacking.

this app appears to be a washed down copy of imgotv (a legit iptv in china) but with a few other things thrown in.

nice, thanks! biggrin.gif

Mktv is quite good considering it's free...
Try changing ur dns to 8.8.8.8, and maybe u will have a smoother experience. the vod is not good but the live channels are great. Personally I think the pq is the best compared to all other free iptv app that I have tried, and even to some paid iptv. Was referring to tw, HK and Europe channels. there's even treehouse channel from Canada which is quite rare.
For china channels, there's hdp and tv 2.0, too bad they are not quite stable for me...

Increase your budget and then read this thread for recommendations.. It's a public forum and a ton of info is in here.. If too lazy to search, do not get an android box. Maintenance is required.

Is there much difference compared to Unify TV Box..?

Yes! The TM supplied android box is nowhere comparable to a Minix Neo U1.

EURO2016 - i only know it is covered by CCTV and LETV.

For beginners, you could opt to buy online for a pretty good spec

Just went to Digital Mall PJ just now...apparently...all those apps which want to watch Astro, definitely gonna have to pay a monthly subscription fee.

The seller showed the sample of the app with Astro...honestly...the quality is so bad that I straight away changed my decision...

Is it really a must to pay the fee to get those Astro channels? If yes, I am hoping for really good quality video and complete channels.

Besides that, which app would you all recommend me to install in the TV Box? I tried to view the HDP TV app...100% China channels only

1GB RAM + 8GB ROM in 2016.. IMO, those are hardly pretty good specs.. A couple years ago or a very simple user? Yeah.. But hardly sufficient for today's average user. Plus manufacturer support may be nonexistent.

A must to pay the fee? Well Yes and no... Also, you were probably shown a sample with really bad sources. You must understand operators of those apps are not legit and can close up shop any day + they don't owe you a dime even after you paid a million rm.. Hence, legitimate Astro or Hypptv, Netflix, iFlix, etc. These guys have proper licenses and the infrastructure to get HD content to you the user.

Welcome to the world of DIY... However, If you must ask such questions, I'm sorry to inform you that, you MUST stick to your Astro and other legitimate subscriptions. I'm sure everyone wants 4K channels with DTS:X or at least DTS-HD MA audio.. What one wants is entirely different from what one can get.. Hope this clarifies such.. biggrin.gif
