Why talk so much cock about a wounded team?

Remember last time when they were top of the table and we are languishing in 7-8 and we still beat them?

It can happen to us too.
*
Exactly. Why talk so much about them? Or any other team that are behind at the moment for that matter. Right now we're in 4th. Win our games and other results won't matter.

I also kesian Moyes. SAF's presence at just about every game at OT is not helping one bit. It just cranks up the pressure on Moyes. Lol

Anyone watched his post-match interview that day? He was asked whether LFC were a tiny horse, medium horse or a big horse. BR just said "Oh, we're just a foal" biggrin.gif

My main concern currently is still our squad depth. It still has some injury concerns especially in defence. And there are no quality (not enough, anyway) players off the bench to replace Suarez or Sturridge should it be necessary. We've been blessed by superb form from the both of them. I hope both don't suffer any injuries or burnout from now on. Since Suarez's return from suspension, I can't remember which game he hasn't started apart from the League Cup match against United. But he's still pressing defenders from the front like a rabbit on steroids. May it continue. biggrin.gif

My, we certainly have a wide range of optimism levels amongst the forumers here. Some are super optimistic, some are realists, and there are a few pessimists too. tongue.gif

Surprised no gathering for that Arsenal match. When was the last time you guys had one, anyway?

He needs more confidence in shooting though.
*
Nah, let Suarez and Sturridge do the shooting. Let Couts continue to do the providing to both of them. thumbup.gif

Would love it if Stevie could still shoot like he did 6 or 7 years ago. Oh well, one does not simply have everything that he wishes for tongue.gif

Well, right now Hendo's definitely playing a lot better than when he first started to at LFC. He has improved a lot since he's been in the team in 2010. Certainly not world class, but good enough for now. We take what we can get from him at this moment.

Some of those defenders must be feeling some nasty headaches after clearing out all those crosses.

do the wide-man-cross tactic is outdated tactic or need time to adept?

kenny doing this but it cost his job in the end... while villa also using this with exceptional ok atm...
my op, still thinking this tactic is reliable but need time to make it effective
*
Tactics are only reliable when they are deployed to cater to the squad's strengths and opponents' weaknesses. tongue.gif

Apparently Usian Bolt's 23.35mph. Could Hendo really be that fast? O.o
*
Bolt probably could do it for more than 150m. Maybe Hendo could only do it on a 50m dash. laugh.gif

I think Moyes has taken the idea of penetration to a whole new level.

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Feb 12 2014, 03:46 PM)
As long as Moyes doesn't "shake up" the team too much, shouldn't matter which way it points.

QUOTE(melt @ Feb 12 2014, 03:49 PM)
it does as you dont really want it to be 'unloaded' on the wrong side.  laugh.gif

Toure always looks clueless whenever he does a mistake that leads to a goal. Look left, right, up, down, everywhere. laugh.gif

The rule already stated, taking off shirt is yellow card offence.

*
Yeah i know. I just don't see the logic in FIFA's reasoning to make it a bookable offence though.

Did anyone notice Suarez urging the team to get the game restarted asap after Coutinho's equaliser. That was pure class.

Off topic, but Pinoys ranking the highest in SEA? I thought they are pretty shite except their b-ball.

*
Yeah he did. Immediately took the ball and went to them and urged them to get a crack on. His reaction was almost like "Yeah, yeah we scored. Now get a grip of yourselves and go get a winner" tongue.gif
