We are playing Man.City next.

We just lost 3-1 to Man City and out of the FA cup..

I agree.The Saints must put all energy to get back to the prem.Then only then will the club be back where they should be.

I decided to support both clubs as soon as I became interested in premier league football =P both are on equal footing, but newcastle gets a hell lot more tv coverage (understatement?) so its easier to give them more attention.

When they promoted to EPL next season, you will have the chance to see them live

Southampton is very good at producing promising players. So far they are Walcott and Bales.

Yet another "should win game" that has slipped through Saints fingers as Coventry scored two route one goals and Saints missed a host of chances to put a downer on Saints making the automatic promotion place as we slip to 6th in the table. Will Saints ever do things any way but the bloody hard way?

It was the case of 1 enjoyable minute of football and 89 of pretty scrappy and tense football, but Saints gained all three points thanks to a first minute goal by Marek Saganowski. His perfectly timed header from Bale's freekick, sailed into the corner of the net to push Saints up to 5th place in this increasingly tight top 8.Bottom-line,back to 5th!!!
