hmm shouldn't be knocking, because the ignition timing is set for RON88.
my guess is that it is something else...

btw have you pay attention to the coolant temperature when it is happening? also the outside/ambient temperature which is shown constantly on the meter panel as well (only the coolant requires specific toggle )
