This is it fellas, the moment we have been waiting for since splashing our money on ingot boosters and it will be a fleeting moment - just 24 hours and counting.

It is being suggested that we group up for this game mode and what better place to find like minded people than here.

Drop your steam ID in this thread if you been farming ingots. Please be honest. Don't waste our time if you never bought Fortune's Favor or Abundant Fortune's Favor.

As suggested by the Dota 2 blog, we need to do practice sessions as a group before attempting to play the mode. This is because we need to employ a finite resource - ingots.

For those who really want the rewards, they must spend the ingots wisely in this mode.

I think I've got roughly around 6 or 7k ingots and I should be able to get a few thousand more assuming the AFF is still usable (dota 2 network is down atm, but I had 98 minutes left last night). Ursa: 6 mjolnir
Dazzle: Necro book, deso, scepter, refresher, 1 Daedalus, rapier
Warlock: Drums, 1 Daedalus, 5 rapier
Sladar: ACuirass, medallion, 1 Daedalus, 2 rapier, fireworks
Alchemist: 1 Daedalus, 2 mjolnir, 3 rapier

Most important thing is the fireworks to stun the Year Beast.
Warlock kept casting fatal bonds
Dazzle his ultimate
Sladar medallion and most importantly fireworks
Ursa n Alc just hit

They had 500-700 fireworks.. lol

even play with practice its very hard to kill the beast

I really hate this mode:

1. If you have ZERO ingots, there are glitches that can be exploited to farm Jade Tokens.

2. This means that those who paid for boosters and grinded for Jade Tokens are water fish.

3. This is not a mode I can play with most of my Dota friends. Instead I have to party with strangers.

4. I skipped some CNY events to grind ingots, now it has gone to waste.

Yea i used the Visage glitch this afternoon and got 18k jades in like 2 hours lol.

doesnt work anymore, they patched it evening.

Now the best way to farm is go in pick range, and hit the year beast for 100k and suicide. You get rank D and 250 jade.

Also there is some weird way or bug you can use, need at least 2 people buy 1 mine, and place 2 mine at where the year beast will jump in, if lucky enough, you will get 100k dmg straight, then can suicide ady, else u get at least 10k to 20k, and you have to start atk it till 100k dmg be4 u can suicide. This method is by chance, I success once per 3 match, also the success chance is higher if there is more mine, if you can get enough ppl to buy 1 mine for each round, then higher chance u can farm faster.

Well if you guys are interested in practicing or whatever, let me know.

Looks like the current strategy is to get 100k damage and suicide to get 250 tokens.

A less popular strategy is 500k using Riki to revive players and get 600 tokens.

All with ZERO ingots.

Just sharing my team's strategy..

Go for zeus, DP, Rhasta, Warlock and Lich.
Average about 2.30 min per game to hit 100k and suicide.

With mines will be much faster

That's...freaking long. Drow, DP, Warlock, Troll and Sladar + 3 mines minimum used alternately will hit 100k in like 15 seconds.

i just play 35 minutes match just now and got 140+ ingots and used to be around 40-50 per match its seems they upped the ingot bounty ..,

Yes its stated in the patch update....

seems a waste for me to buy the fortune favor earlier

average should be every 2 mins 250 jade by doing 100k dmg.

How many yearly beast cycles are there?

Hit 1m dmg , leave the game , abanddon it , GG , no ingots losing , but low priority mate .

The event will end on 25 February .. Unspend Ingots will vanish, and all unspent Jade Tokens will automatically be redeemed toward New Bloom rewards
