Hey guys! Not sure if there is an official thread for Loadout yet!(Mod please feel free to delete this thread if this is a duplicate)

Thought of creating an official/unofficial thread for this pretty amazing game!

It recently was released on steam for FREE! There is an option to purchase the steam launch starter pack but that's more catered to cosmetics and such.

The game-style plays similarly to Team Fortress 2, but what sets it apart is the option to customise your weapon to give you that edge against your opponents.

All game modes are 5 vs 5 and there is an option to invite your friends and create a party while in-game

Anyone currently playing the game? We can add each other and play as a team or against each other!

Here's some info about the game:

Game Info

Loadout is the fast-paced, free to play multiplayer shooter featuring over-the-top frenetic action, comedic violence, and Weaponcrafting with billions of combinations.

Weaponcrafting

Create, Customize, Kill! is the Weaponcrafting slogan for a reason. Unleash your inner mad-scientist to craft guns for every map and situation. There are billions of combinations—what’s your Loadout?

Player Progression

Loadout is Free to Play, not Pay to Win. Playing Loadout earns Blutes, which can be used in the Tech Tree to unlock more weapon parts, payloads, and equipment. Spacebux are purchasable but optional, and spent in the Outfitter for character customization and cosmetics, never power.

Game Types
Pick from two ways to play: Casual and Competitive. Casual offers the core Loadout experience and Competitive is for the serious gamer seeking to take it to the next level. Switch between modes at any time.

3 days after launch and already got whole forum full of complains about aimbots heashotting ppl all over the map.

And the game refused to download over Steam for me, left it overnight and wake up with 0MB downloaded.

That's to be expected laugh.gif

Hopefully the devs are working on the kinks and fixing it. In the meantime we can still kinda enjoy it by creating our own LYN in-game group and play against each other? That minimizes the chances of running into bots. So far I have not encountered any bots while playing.

Maybe there was a problem with TMnut? I downloaded with no real problems yesterday.

Played to lvl 3 last night, game mode too limited, the team size is too small and the matchmaking is a biatch but the game is quite enjoyable. Probably the most fun shooter I played after UT2003.

Would be nice if they can implement a package delivery game mode like one in UT2003 and TF2.

They have that game mode.. It's called capture the hammer laugh.gif

I would agree matchmaking is a little wayward and could be improved upon. Team size wise i feel it is adequate for now.

Hopefully they will be introducing more maps and modes in the near future.
