Hey guys! Not sure if there is an official thread for Loadout yet!(Mod please feel free to delete this thread if this is a duplicate)
Thought of creating an official/unofficial thread for this pretty amazing game!
It recently was released on steam for FREE! There is an option to purchase the steam launch starter pack but that's more catered to cosmetics and such.
The game-style plays similarly to Team Fortress 2, but what sets it apart is the option to customise your weapon to give you that edge against your opponents.
All game modes are 5 vs 5 and there is an option to invite your friends and create a party while in-game
Anyone currently playing the game? We can add each other and play as a team or against each other!
Here's some info about the game:
Game InfoLoadout is the fast-paced, free to play multiplayer shooter featuring over-the-top frenetic action, comedic violence, and Weaponcrafting with billions of combinations.
WeaponcraftingCreate, Customize, Kill! is the Weaponcrafting slogan for a reason. Unleash your inner mad-scientist to craft guns for every map and situation. There are billions of combinations—what’s your Loadout?

CREATE
Build the exact gun you want to dominate the battlefield. Then craft another one just for overkill—and that’s just one Loadout. Use Weaponcrafting to construct an entire arsenal to be ready for every map and every situation. You define your role with the weapons you create. And forget the boring stereotypes. In Loadout, there are millions of combinations to create the perfect gun for your exact play-style.
We hope you’re creative, because Weaponcrafting lets you unleash your inner mad-scientist. Build a rocket launcher that fires proximity mines that heal your teammates when they get close. Design a minigun that fires bullets that electrocute your enemies. Create a sniper that unleashes a beam of fire, and a pulse cannon to dominate at all ranges. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, hit the Randomize Button a few times to see the millions of combinations at your fingertips.
CUSTOMIZE
Designing your perfect weapon in Loadout is easy. First pick the Chassis to determine what type of projectiles your gun fires. Second, customize the chassis with parts to modify the behavior of the gun to your precise design. Finally, select a Payload to imbue your gun with an additional attribute.
CHASSIS
The chassis determines how you deal death to the other team. Rifles shoot bullets with near-instantaneous travel time. Launchers fire a variety of self-propelled rockets with great damage potential. The Pulse chassis fires a barrage of fast-moving projectiles, and Beam unleashes a continuous stream of death.
PARTS
Select each Part to fine-tune the performance of your weapon until it kills just the way you like. Tinker with the barrel, scope, trigger, stock, magazine, and more to create the exact tool for hte job at hand.
Start with a Pulse chassis then add an X-Ray scope and Bouncy Dynamics to see your enemies through walls, then harass them by banking shots at them from around corners. Or customize a Launcher with Scuttle Propulsion, Sticky Shells, and Quad Cluster to fire mines that crawl along the floor, stick to walls or enemies, and then explode setting off additional secondary explosions. The parts refine your weapon into a work of death-dealing art.
PAYLOADS
Last, but not least, the Payload imbues your weapon's projectiles with an incredible additional property. Loadout has five distinct Payloads to choose from, ranging from dealing extra damage over time, to healing, to buffing.
SLUG:
The Classic. Perforate, dismember, and explode your opponents with direct fire projectiles like bullets, shells, and rockets. Slug is for the traditionalist, who appreciates the crack of a sniper shot over newfangled gizmos.
TESLA:
Like the hum of electricity? Like it better when it's coursing through someone else's body? Then the Tesla payload is for you. Tesla has all the predictability of a lightning bolt, and might just arc to nearby targets for double the fun—shocking!
HEALTH:
Everyone loves someone using Health. Except the other team. They’ll try and mercilessly murder you at every opportunity because of how important you are. But they’ll have a tough time with that, since Health lets you Overheal your teammates to 150% health before the fight, and keep them topped up during.
PYRO:
Let's set the world on fire—or at least the other team. Pyro puts all of your burning needs in the palm of your hand, literally. Use Pyro to incinerate your foes, causing burning damage over time. Laugh as they crumple into small pyres to your glory.
THE JUICE:
Need a pick-me-up? Feeling a bit down? Then Juice is for you! Use it on yourself or teammates to move faster and deal more damage. Does the idea of pounding your opponents into pulp appeal to you? Then grab some friends and Juice up. Your opponents won't believe what hit them—or how good you looked doing it.
KILL!
Take your custom-tailored aresenal into battle and annihilate your opponents. Create Loadouts with weapons designed specifically to dominate each map. Customize weapons to counter every play-style. Kill!
Player Progression Loadout is Free to Play, not Pay to Win. Playing Loadout earns Blutes, which can be used in the Tech Tree to unlock more weapon parts, payloads, and equipment. Spacebux are purchasable but optional, and spent in the Outfitter for character customization and cosmetics, never power.
Game TypesPick from two ways to play: Casual and Competitive. Casual offers the core Loadout experience and Competitive is for the serious gamer seeking to take it to the next level. Switch between modes at any time.

CASUAL? NOT EXACTLY
Don’t be fooled: Casual is only casual compared to Competitive. The action is still frenetic, and the four game types take no prisoners. Casual features drop-in, drop-out play, and you can join solo or with a group. Lobbies stay active as long as players stick with them. After each match players vote on the map and game mode combo to play next. Between rounds is a great time to tweak Weapons, Loadouts, or Outfits.
DEATH SNATCH
Every kill counts—as long as the Blutonium vial gets picked up. Picking up the red vials dropped by dead opponents scores your team points. Deny the other team from scoring by grabbing the green vials dropped by dead allies. It’s vital to stick together in Death Snatch so that there’s someone left alive to grab the vials and score points.
JACKHAMMER
Forget capturing flags. Capture the enemy’s hammer and take it back to your base while protecting your own to score. Oh, and the hammer is a brutal melee weapon. Smashing enemies with it nets more points on a successful capture. Steal the hammer -> smash people -> profit.
EXTRACTION
Grab the unrefined Blutonium scattered over the map and take it to the grinder bins for processing—and points. Stop the other team from scoring by killing their collector. When a collector dies, another player on the team is randomly chosen. Unrefined Blutonium is incredibly volatile when shot or thrown—watch out!
BLITZ
Capture the active control point to score. The more players in proximity to the control point the faster it captures. Taunting in the capture zone also speeds up the process—but makes the capping team an easier target. The closer a team gets to capturing, the longer it will take the other team to capture the point. Watch the pros.
COMPETITIVE!
This is serious, hardcore, no-holds-barred Loadout. Competitive is the mode for those seeking top-level play and teamwork. Not for the faint-hearted: get ready to prove you’re worthy.
ANNIHILATION
For serious competitors we have Annihilation, which combines elements from Blitz, Death Snatch, and Jackhammer into one humungous pot of hardcore: cap the points, cap the vials, and cap the hammer! Win Annihilation by racking up ten thousand Team Points, thereby lowering the enemy shields so you can blow up their dropship. Boom! Get in the Game!
