Cheap and nice. I envy those with electronic skills, they can mod all sorts of stuff with just some good simple ideas.

I can see that you are using variable resistors and capacitors. Tell me, are you setting them up in series for each fan? What are the ratings of the variable resistor and capacitors?
After this has been completed I bet the next one you would making is a PWM fan controller right? |

Greetings Threadstarter,
Not bad at all, your modding setup. Ya - I would like to know the overall cost to mod this project ? Thank you. I was looking forward to mod my Thermaltake Fans as well ... Regards, Hughie |

QUOTE(ikan_semilang @ Jul 10 2006, 10:10 PM) yeah. using dremel with a grinding attachment.QUOTE(Shah81 @ Jul 10 2006, 11:09 PM) You can cut hole using a hole saw attachment for your drill. i think 1A should be enough to handle normal usage users. not everyone can tahan the noise of high CFM deltas. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- @hollowbean 1A output...I guess you are using LM317. This should not be enough for those using high CFM Deltas that sucks 3A BTW, where did you buy that 3 pin connector. Got at Jln Pasar ??? 3 pin connector i think it can be found at jalan pasar, but not sure. i got those from old motherboards. QUOTE(GoldenHawk @ Jul 11 2006, 09:28 AM) the shop near RHB bank. but not at the same row, it just next to corner at car accessories shop.QUOTE(ikan_semilang @ Jul 11 2006, 09:39 AM) haha. sure no problem |
