Have you tried another power adapter to power up the box? It could be the power adapter rosak.

Even if you would to buy new NJOI box without satellite dish (means use back existing satellite dish that you have now), it'll cost RM309 if I'm not mistaken.

Alternative? Ask some electricians to repair for you lo... Anyone but not from Astro/NJOI customer service. You're on your own now.

can get it on Shopee official store here. bear in mind new box have lesser channels than old box.

yes, agree with u, purchase new box consider as new customer, the channel is lesser than old customer , the channel that cannot be watched as below:

125 prima
126 oasis
261 vaanavil
344 xiao tai yang
346 aec
375 cctv4

Thanks for the help. Dont feel like buying at all coz support is below my expectation. All via WA, no more phone support.

To them, phone support is "expensive" while NJOI is a free product (even with NJOI prepaid, not everyone subscribe it), hence they shouldn't spend so much money on expensive way of customer service.

Can I buy a new decoder but I will still be using my old smart card ? Thus I will still be able to watch the same old channels...

hi all. i have a question

my MIL watches astro. she only watches 3 channels:
103 - TV3
114 - al hijrah
106 - astro oasis

currently paying rm65 monthly. already finish contract with astro. what is the best cheapest package in NJOI that includes these 3 channels?

Why everytime shutdown box, the volume reset, eg; when i turn down volume (20%), it will reset back to 70% when after turn back on the decoder. How to fix this, anyone knows?

It's always been like this.

Alternatively, don't rely on Astro box to control the audio volume. Control the audio volume using your TV remote or audio system's remote instead.

Otherwise, don't power off your Astro box. Just put it to standby mode whenever you're not watching.
Don't worry. Feel free to leave it on overnight 24/7. Won't cause fire one. sweat.gif

To convert your Astro account to NJOI, the process is similar to terminating Astro service.
You can only call its customer service 03-95433838 (9am-6pm daily) to do so.
Other contact channels like email, Facebook, WhatsApp, feedback form, will not entertain such requests.

You need to give them 1 month advance notice (refer your billing date cycle). Of course, don't too last minute lah, like billing day is tomorrow, but you call them today. If like that, definitely the termination can only be done at the following month instead.

Then, you'll need to pay RM199 for conversion fee to NJOI.
