hv u calc KLCC yield?  hmm.gif

i never seen attractive at this price... blink.gif

Historical NET divvy (total for KLCC Prop and KLCC REIT) is 32 sen
Expect growth of about 4-5% p.a.

So, forward net yield about 5.4%

Watching Quill Capita too...

Its portfolio mainly single-tenanted purpose-built offices for data centres for MNCs (DHL, BMW, HSBC). With weak Ringgit, no reason for them to shift out of Bolehland. Furthermore, shifting data centres costs $$$$$$$$

Resilient income.

i believe the datacentre setup in malaysia was entice by our government by using tax free holiday and cheap labour costs ....... they will consider pullout once they need to upgrade their equipments (overhaul their system) and/or their tax free holiday was near to expired. As they can setup their datacentre anywhere if the gov are supportive like throwing others incentives which entice them to move........ if this mnc's datacentre moves many will lose their jobs too (especially IT engineer) so this is no kidding topic, i think our gov will still continue extend their special packages to attract them to stick with us. hopefully...... RETREAT will eventually come one day, right!!!  hmm.gif
*
Competition for data centre mainly from India. Cheap English-speaking staff.

But infrastructure-wise Bolehland STILL better...for now

Whats your two cents on uoareit

It's the biggest holding in my portfolio, u say leh? tongue.gif

One of the highest net yield...6-7% p.a.

Yeah, office oversupply, but UOAREIT's offices are in prime locations. Steady but don't expect much growth.

thinking of entering today.

if u buy UOAREIT, u gotta hold for long haul. cos sometimes the buy/sell price spread quite wide due to low liquidity for this counter. if u hold long, receive (at least) a few years of dividends, any paper loss should be covered wink.gif

The liquidity is extremely low, not even fulfill the min 25% spread requirement.
*
Yes, sometimes the spread up to 3 sen e.g. Buy 1.35, Sell 1.38, i.e. if u desperate to sell, u will lose 3 sen immediately.

If u have already held for YEARS and received many rounds of dividends, that 3 sen spread, give the buyer lor! biggrin.gif

My criteria for buying Reits is DY. The higher the better because for same amount of money I can receive higher dividend income. Hence of my top pick is Arreit.
*
revenue growth and STABILITY is important too

u don't wanna get dividend but see the share price plunging 10-20% and never recovering sweat.gif
imagine u bought ARREIT or AMFIRST at their peak...see how much it has dropped since then? DY also cannot help u

if u solely hunt for DY, u should show hand YTLREIT tongue.gif

If buy myself? Can it be done via M2U?
Eg, do I need to transfer money into CDS account?

Some more, if I don't touch the CDS account say for 5 years, will it be deactivated like normal SA?

Thank You

These questions can be better answered by calling Maybank directly.

Quill Capita REIT can also be considered as it has opened the Kampung Baru mall, which will contribute 100 per cent to its earnings next year.

What and where is this Kampung Baru mall? rclxub.gif

DW kiasu land portfolio is awesome!
bolehland looks limited~

His is all REITs plus a few telcos

We cannot replicate his portfolio? Get all the good REITs + DiGi + Maxis + TM hmm.gif

But SREIT's DY spread to their FD rates is BIG
Interest rate 1%+, DY STILL 6-7%

Ours interest rate 3%+, DY only 4-7% doh.gif

Grow slower lor, but I believe in his method nod.gif

But that is still under Quill Group, the holding company.

There's news that they're injecting it into the REIT? blink.gif
