Lol. Maybe it is just because it is convenient as it is located around a big housing area...So people tend to seek them cause they are not located as far as the other tyre service centers.

KL is all about convenience...you open restauraunt with shitty and expensive food also people eat..ex: Village Park in Uptown Damansara. Shitty , Expensive Food with rude Bangla waiters.

Still full of s*hai go there everyday. Must be bomoh makes sumpah kasi business bagus.

I realize, after for more than 20 yrs staying in city (study and work), there are few places i will avoid to go for tyres, repair or any mechanical issue, which are subang, bangsar, damansara and now adding one more, kota damansara. But even you go segambut, puchong or even klang, same shxt happen as well. I will never go to that tyre shop, workshop or acc shop if without friend who knows the shop owner or mechanic. Especially most of us know not much about car and most of the time, rely on the mechanic to tell us what to repair or parts to replace. Moral of the story, do ask around or at least, search from internet first before you go, otherwise, be prepared to be slaughtered and your car's problem can't be solved after that....

Most car workshop are slaughterhouse...just waiting for the sheeps to walk-in....this is why car workshop pops up like mushroom everywhere...i have been to small town where whole row of shoplots are nothing but car workshop..,.business must be dem good.

my friend car was send to Lim Tayar TTDI to change the suspension and tyres, it cost almost 5k for a Kia Picanto 2009!! they said the parts are difficult to source and all imported hence the charges. CRAZY!!!

worst part is when i drove my friend to pick up the car, i was just park infront of the parking space while waiting my friend pick the car, and was ask to park outside because i was blocking their customer parking!! WTF!!! those Fxxking space are for Merc, BMW and Luxury car!!!
*
Why RM5K your friend never ask for 2nd opinion??? Water fish liao lor...worst part is....are you getting what you have paid?? Should just go back to KIA SC.

Picanto and Korean car parts easily available from most parts shops... They r using 80s era stories to charge you extra
*
Not exactly true...only Kia salesman make up such stories to sell more cars. When you go hunt the parts, then you know.
