Echoing the opening line of the page, this gotta be the Technic flagship for 2014!

When the first half 2014 Technic sets were announced, I only see small sets and thought no Technic sets will make it to my 2014 shopping list. This is definitely a must buy for me, will go nicely with 8043 Motorised Excavator and 42009 Mobile Crane MKII.

Another possible candidate to make my 2014 Technic shopping list is 42028 Bulldozer. I cannot find any images or detailed info and can only hope that it is an updated re-release of 8275 Motorised Bulldozer...

Talking bout Glass Cabinet, besides IKEA, where can we get it? Any shop locally does customization or ones like those in shopping center (example below)? Any recommendation or advise be good.

If any set caught your eye and you wanted it badly, but expensive.. then start saving $$ for it I guess.

Back to reality , when one is on a budget, I don't think its sensible to ask him/her to splurge immediately especially on hobby items like these. Of coz in  LEGO-centric community/thread, "BUY BUY BUY now " seemed "fine" too.

example: I saw ebay listing selling LEGO stuff with reason like " need $$$ for urgent matters"
I guess there are difference in mindset between deep pockets like you vs poorfag like me.... 

2014 City sets cheaper coz ITS much smaller compare to 2013... look at the Police Station then you know what I mean... BBT now only give 5% for 2014 sets... crappy...

yup, that is what i heard from others. Only playset starting from year 2014 is 5% discount.

depends la some set price does drop a bit. but most of them maintain with lesser discount. I thought unimog when release was 900. Cannot recall. Find 3rd party will have better discount like 700+ if i recall correctly.

Can easily get 41999 with that price. I will buy from S@H Canada with help from my friend at the end of this year

It's not that impressive out from the box in my opinion.  Still need to mod to make it even better.  From some instructional videos online, so much can be done.  Just need the time and resources to do it.

This is madness... in US S@H this Sea Cow is USD250, but Down Under it's AUD390... converted almost RM1.2K...   

Still, very tempted to click Place Order... must resist... must tahan.... 

Must also get home minister's approval... that will usually cause more hurt on the wallet! 

for a start i don't think they expect those sets to be toys for most children... there are whole lot of smaller sets to satisfy kids..
imagine you were to spend thousand plus on a set.. and let small kids play with it.. missing few pieces will definitely trigger this reaction:
