Which is the best Total War game in the entire series? (As of today, not day/year of release).

Ended up getting Medieval 2 since it was super cheap (4.89USD), since it got Rome for free too
Shogun 2 Collection: Will wait for the price to drop more |

Anyone here used a Steam account in both Malaysia and Australia?
Any problems with games and region locks? I.e. bought the game in Malaysia, but then found out you can't play it once you're in Australia. |

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Feb 25 2014, 05:37 PM) Man all this region lock makes me wanna stop buying from Steam. Dishonored has SEA specific region locks?Next year I want to continue my study in America probably. Then how am I going to play games that are region lock lol. Example Dishonored, Thief and a few others which is only locked in Malaysia, SG and others. edit: If you know of any other games off the top of your head with SEA region locks, please do tell This post has been edited by sunblaze: Feb 25 2014, 06:12 PM |

QUOTE(Cheesenium @ Feb 25 2014, 07:28 PM) Not sure about Dishonored as the store page doesnt say anything about region locks as per here. Good thing i'm not planning to get thief yet Thief, however, it is different as it does have a box saying that the game is region locked. As far as i know, the ones that are confirmed are Valve games from eclub. Valve games I'm fine either way, only got the old stuff which I'm done with anyways. Something to keep a very sharp eye on from now on though, for all purchases. |

I used to pirate ages ago (college days, etc).
Strangely enough after I started playing World of Warcraft, that changed. Paying a 13USD sub every month for a game that was fun (at the time, since quit) made me more willing to spend money on other games too. It's been years since I last played a pirated game. Not much reason to, tbh. Steam sales, Amazon's sales, GMGs deals, etc etc... plenty of ways to get cheap games (< 10USD) if you are prepared to wait. One thing I've stopped doing is pre-ordering or buying on day 1. Why? Got burned recently with poor releases. No point paying extra to be a glorified beta tester or risk paying top dollar for a dud. Let the game release, if it really is that good there is always to buy it in week/month 1. If it's a dud, then don't buy it at all. If it's buggy, postpone buying until it's patched to a decent state (which also gives time for price reductions). |
