Im a mac new user.Got ibook g3 500mhz from a friend of mine.This is my first using mac so need help from u guys.My built in speaker got no sound,when i restart sometimes got n sometimes no.When i plug in external speaker.It works!!!Need Help la guys.
2.my os is 10.2.8 should i upgrade it to 10.3?coz most i want to go wireless.Thinking to buy an usb wifi.
3.Can i use external hdd?coz due to my hdd size is soo small.

have you tried hitting the max volume button..It should work. If it does not that means its something wrong somewhere

1. Yea' go with OSX 10.3 or OSX 10.4. OSX 10.2.8 is slow...Try to bump to OSX 10.3 or .4 and you will notice that your mac runs 5-25% faster

2. Go ahead and get an external HDD. Make sure to get an external HDD Case which has a firewire output
