Can anybody explain to me what is 'g-system'? Where is it made? and is it licensed by Bandai? I know they make some different versions of the kits available or even unavailable ones...

G-System", a basic and familiar title to modellers ... not because it is our logo, but just for its popularity in the model world of G.U.N.D.A.M.

We have a strong team of master model sculpturers, a G.K. resin cast moulding department, a QC and packaging department, and colouring department. We have even built up an independent expertise in draft of assembly manual and photography of products. Today, we have employed tens of skillful personels in our business. With this realistics, we have successfully made business with Japanese famous animation publishers and Hong Kong local comic publishers over years.

Nowadays, "G-System" styles in figuring and colouring of sci-fiction model kits becomes a culture of the field. Our success in raising modelling courses is originated from this. might give it a try smile.gif
actually i have both super glue and mr.cement lying around, do both give same result or different?
will give it a try
currently it was so loose i let it hold a beam rifle before i get to work, when i got back home, it was either tilted down / fell down. so, yeah, might glue it permanently.

The thing is though, super glue or mr. cement?

sometimes i wonder how you all pose your gunpla

i was trying to make my sinanju stand properly, i nearly break it in half and accidentally scratch so many of the paints area sad.gif
*
For MG Sinanju, a stand is recommended.

Some of my MG Sinanju poses wink.gif

THX BRO!!!! nice link and explaination

The suggestions are very valid, but it balls down to your own preference wink.gif which Gundam series have you watch and which do you like?

Of all the available MG, I personally would recommend RX-78-2 OYW (One Year War) version.

You will be intimidated by the amount of runners at first, but as HxiiiK mentioned, Sinanju is a fun build. But for a beginner, Sinanju might not be the best choice as it is quite tedious in some parts... Zaku II v2.0 is still my recommendation smile.gif

Zaku II might be good...but for a newbie, you know that little parts for the belt / legs...the tube like thingy. Sorry, don't know what is it called. It's damn frustrating and difficult to remove from the runners. Maybe I don't know a better technique but I found myself using my teeth to remove it..lol. I like Zaku but whenever I think about building that part...i'd end up not buying it.
*
mmmm... I thought we remove the pieces with a nipper? LOL... you'll get a hang of it after building so many Zaku tongue.gif

For me, if you want to begin building MG (I mean if you wanna start gunpla-ing but don't wanna start with HG @ SD), I highly suggest you start with MG Freedom. Not too simple, not too complex, and still got stylish design. smile.gif
And its also comes with a stand that will make you feel worth-ed buying MG for the first time. And MG Freedom price won't be as high as Sinanju and just a bit more than Zakus.
But that's my opinion la. Me myself start MG line with MG Wing Ver KA. (That's the reason my avatar is Wing Ver KA) icon_rolleyes.gif

My 1st MG was the RX-78-2 OYW smile.gif Never regret it wink.gif

For the Figurise 6", I strongly recommend you check out what you are getting into before you buy... most of the coloring are by stickers...

shifu sekalian, i hope somebody will help give me an answer
if have since started back gunpla for about 6 months or so
now at the stage of learning paintbrushing and to make the model to look a bit more pro rather than just snapfit

i have seen certain blogs, where they take pic of the model in grey primer then to show finish product as a comparison

what is the actual process to built one from runners to completion?

cut out from runners, then snip the nib, sand, then assemble, then spray primer, then disassemble spray individuals colors and then assemble it again? what about the inner frame? or those rubber poly caps parts?

hopefully someone can shed some light to me, im trying to build one now with customized and fully painted one.

thanks in advance
