QUOTE(Owweichieh91 @ Feb 16 2014, 06:25 PM) just wanna ask some expert which tools are u guys using i newbie here but i love gunpla n mecha i got 5 mg 2rg n 2 valvrave model all with nub n spurt making the gunpla looks not so nice how to cut it nice and making it nice need help.may noe which cutter using ? im a cheapskate so i use normal boxcutter knife, these days i dun even bother sanding anymore. I just cut the remaining nub with the blade, careful though, abit hard to control as you might dig in too much with the blade and accidently chip off too much from the nub |

QUOTE(Owweichieh91 @ Feb 16 2014, 08:28 PM) ya bro this technique i try before ,sadly i cut too deep for all model so sad , by the way which sanding grit u using to smooth the surface are u into painting the model? nah i dont paint, oni use markers occasionally, sanding shouldnt be a prob if u planning to topcoat(i think), anyway i dun topcoat too coz i dun have a proper display case in which it will attract more dust than usual |

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Mar 7 2014, 03:15 PM) For a moment there i thought bandai was gonna release like, star build strike complete package so people who already own the original build strike gotta buy another build strike, separating them is actually pretty considerate of bandai.BTW, since universal booster uses GAT frame...does that mean i can mod a star build Blitz/buster/duel/aegis??? QUOTE(nazrul90 @ Mar 12 2014, 05:04 PM) most newer MG now use swap finger like HG i think that depends on the size of the kit, like seed and wing series all smaller than UC, oni UC kits are big enough to adopt the new finger designno more 1-1-3 finger (except for old mold since Bandai too lazy) so few MG have fully articulated hand like 3.0, Jesta, Sinanju Stein and other |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Mar 22 2014, 06:06 PM) Even if it's P-Bandai, Bandai usually set the place relative to the amount of material used to manufacture the product. Since it has more stuff than normal Banshee, it was priced more than normal Banshee, but since it used fewer material than MG Sazabi, it is priced cheaper than Sazabi. What makes it expensive later will be shipping cost from Japan, proxy charges if you used proxy and also the fact that there is no discount from Bandai. Normal releases were actually distributed at cheaper price than the standard retail price, which overseas importer later can use the offset to cover the shipping cost and added their profit margin, while keeping end price almost similar to standard retail price in Japan. You can't do the same with P-Bandai stuff QUOTE(General_Nic @ Mar 22 2014, 07:32 PM) p-bandai kits price in japanese yen are actually standard price lol, but only sold online to japanese customers(and HK) oh man...was really looking forward to an MG release of banshee norn, first time i feel the dreamcrushing powers of p-bandai exclusives the reason why p-bandai kits are expensive in other countries is because sellers/middleman also need to earn unlike normal kits, they dont get p-bandai kits at retailer/dealer price, they are buying at retail price too, so they need to raise the price to earn, hence the high price |

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Mar 29 2014, 07:46 PM) Then we buyers should devise a plan, 'boycott' a kit release until the stock becomes abundant, make Litt Tak clear them away at clearance or warehouse sales huehuehue i was thinking the exact same thing lol, my hunch is telling me the next item that will be on sale is gaera doga or maybe dark hound |
