The effects of the top coat is huge. There is a pic show the difference between the top coat, but I forget where.  Maybe u should look at painting guide thread.
*
perhaps I'll get one and spray on some parts to see first, checked out a few sites, and the result is apparently awesome. Hope I have enough time in the weekend for it sweat.gif

Real grade zeta.... Can't resist..... Anyone wanna sell theirs to me?
*
Try to build yourself lar, I build couple of HG, and one MG, then straight skip to RG liao. Try getting RX78 to build first cos that one was easier iirc. Zeta need to handle with extreme care sweat.gif
but still can build, but take a lot of time. assemble + lining took 2 1/2 full day and decal took me like 4 nights, lol

for matte top coat, spray on sunny day, otherwise will end up with winter version

my RG zeta still sitting around in the box
*
hmm, how to say winter version? dried too slow?

I was bored so I went and read the old V2 thread  tongue.gif
and man, so much improvements since 2006
so many kits were impossibruuu at that time  laugh.gif

and kits during that time were hell a lot more expensive
RM125 for MG Zeta Plus, RM210 for MG Zeta 2.0
we sure are lucky now

I got my Zeta for RM115, there's this shop in Sunway Mentari that I went. they did have a online side.

this is their facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/GundamToyShop

the paint comes in a cost, bought TS-21, and first time using spray, in the process of practicing using used runner piece and my old NG Strike Freedom 1/100, after finish painting the sword, i almost finished the whole can liao sweat.gif shakehead.gif

Detailing will do soon but no time now doh.gif plus, the level of detail is overkilling in this mech
plus, dont have the tool to that level of detailing yet, maybe later when I gotten those markers, This month pretty much run out of budget liao sweat.gif

Its weird looking unlike any mobile suit. For gundam kit builders, after hundreds of design that r roughly similar (heck some r just kitbash/recolored design in itself) getting to build something new, something different is highly anticipated.

It, along with turn a is the most ridiculously overpowered gundam ever, approaching super robot-ish level of power.

Turn a series as a whole is unlike most gundam shows, yet its still great in is own right.

All the above combine makes turn a series a unique entry in the gundam-verse. This give it charm, it is precisely this weirdness and quirky design that makes it attractive.

interesting, watched Turn A for a few episode and it feels rather slow paced perhaps in the beginning. I'll marathon through it and see for myself, perhaps I'll get it too. BTW I recommend gundamtoyshop if u getting, gotten my RG Zeta and MG Red Frame from him since the shop is nearby my place. Friendly seller thumbup.gif

turn a is not for everyone, its slow pace not just in the beginning but throughout the whole series. It focuses heavily on character development rather then politics and warfare. Its different then most gundam shows and this difference is reflected in its rating. Some even downright hated it because its so un-gundam-ish not just in design but the show as a whole. I'll say give it a try.

well, can tell after watching like 10-ish episodes, right now I'm leaning towards the dislike part, mainly because of the noisy rich younger daughter, lol. Apart from that I find the series overall interesting and I wanna know what happen in the black history( or was it dark history ).
