My way, I will always go with 'accessories' first. Build weapons, backpacks and wings (if available). I found that when I have finished building the Gundam, I tend to rush things over just to complete it a.s.a.p, compromising the quality. To fix it, I start with the small and repetitive things first

Thanks for reply. Sorry for didn't give enough details in my question. I'm actually doing custom colour for my Gunpla and couldn't get the right subtle effect. Hopefully can get some tips from other modellers.

Example: I'm currently doing different sheds of grey on my HGUC Zaku II F2 and the grey goes wrong T__T

Good one I'll say 

For the the most enjoyable always those non repetitive one, like body and head

The repetitive part comes to full torture if you build a PG 

And the most torturing PG so far is PG SF.

All 00 Movie being released in HG.
