For me, if you want to begin building MG (I mean if you wanna start gunpla-ing but don't wanna start with HG @ SD), I highly suggest you start with MG Freedom. Not too simple, not too complex, and still got stylish design.
And its also comes with a stand that will make you feel worth-ed buying MG for the first time. And MG Freedom price won't be as high as Sinanju and just a bit more than Zakus.
But that's my opinion la. Me myself start MG line with MG Wing Ver KA. (That's the reason my avatar is Wing Ver KA)

Because you got poisoned by expensive gunpla kits. There's a lot more not-so-expensive gunpla that you can buy. Maybe because you not really watch their series that's why you never poisoned by others.
Why don't you grab the MG Qan[T] then? I think its only around RM150 (around standard MG price). Well if you go like MG OO Raiser ofcoz la you'll get Rm200++ for one MG.
