Finished building the MG Gundam X.
Simple, clean and satisfactory for a kit at that price. The flaw is, its very back heavy. The backpack ala Satellite Cannon is heavy undeployed. That makes the waist keep on slanting back. Those who has the OO Raiser will know what I mean. Not sure why Bandai didn't include the black clip like the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice has. But this problem can be solved using the backpack stand adapter. The crotch one is quite loose. Overall good kit and very nice to pose with. Will post pictures of it later. |

QUOTE(General_Nic @ Feb 12 2014, 10:35 PM) #600 or #800 doesn't make much difference, most important is the step up in grit Nice information you have there. Can you give me the link to that thread you mentioned?either #600 or #800, the next one you use #1000 or #1200, then next #1500 btw this is getting too much off topic, there's a thread specific for asking about modelling skills plus, this steps have been posted many times before, please read it |

QUOTE(Vorador @ Feb 13 2014, 01:44 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « extremely underrated. One of the best kit of 2011 pros: Very solid for a transformable kit, good articulation, wing sliding gimmick, extremely articulated whip leading to many posing possibilities, unique beam saber (and glow under black light too just like unicorn psycho frame), easy transformation cons: Lots of bad nubs, back heavy (however when fully extended the tip will reach the ground), out of the box the whip while articulated cant really stay in position (can be easily fix with a layer of paint/top coat) |

@carpathia, @TheAdmiral,
Racun racun! Ok... I was thinking to go easy with Epyon, means simply do some metallic color + matt black mix, instead of crazy shading work on it... |

QUOTE(D-y @ Feb 13 2014, 02:03 AM) The black looks painted. Probably will still be dark blue, and hopefully the backpack fins will not be another gold sticker-fest.This post has been edited by StarGhazzer: Feb 13 2014, 05:00 PM |

Can anybody explain to me what is 'g-system'? Where is it made? and is it licensed by Bandai? I know they make some different versions of the kits available or even unavailable ones...
