I take AirAsia n hand carry the MG Sazabi Ver.Ka didnt kena Tax, other is check in cargo... Didn't buy much coz my wife is fever b4 come back so no time shop, those also is last minute shop.

hmm... actually i find it a hassle to bring locally available gunpla back from overseas. damned boxes so unwieldy. gunpla prices from the specialty shops and local internet sellers quite reasonable wor.

instead of hunting for 'cheaper than malaysia' I prefer to hunt for limited items that are not quite readily available in malaysia basically the non bandai stuff or stuff like gft 7 eleven kits.

Seconded.. if i were to go overseas i'd hunt down all the limiteds for sure.. downside is its worth less if u dont keep the boxes so u have to find space for the box at least thats what i think.. limited kits should come with their limited looking boxes

And box comes back from the trip sometime also become ikan masin @_@

What I did was clip out the pieces and throw away the box. Managed to fit the pieces of 4 big box MG into one big MG box.

I agree with Madmoz, too much hassle, wanna enjoy vacation without dragging boxes. Luckily local stores also often bring in exclusives, just have to be quick to pick them up... Live in Sabah

Really? I always hear about Sarawak Hobby or something like that, I thought Sarawak has better shops than Sabah. I get all my tools/supplies from 1 shop only, others mostly stock kits.
