Hello guys, I's not sure whether this is a correct thread to ask this.

Between mirrorless and DSLR, which one is the best in term of :

1)Ergonomic (Big body is tougher?)
2)Picture quality( Will focal length affects picture quality?)
3)Long term usage (future proof or not?)
4)Ability to fit several occassions (weddings, jungle, etc)

I've read several blogs but I'm still clueless on which camera should I get. Used to own a DSLR but not mirrorless.

There are a few existing thread about mirrorless vs DSLR. U can use the search function.

1) big body not necessarily tougher.

Olympus mju series (SW) are small but shockproof. Mirrorless Fujifilm XT-1 is well built, magnesium body, so does A6000, magnesium alloy.

I understand "ergonomic" as comfortable design, functional design, and user-friendly system.

From experience, some mirrorless cams are dun have good grip and can be uncomfortable to handle for long period but many can be improved by adding handgrips.

2) Picture quality (image quality = IQ) is depending on sensor size, lens & many other factors, which can be very personal. Different people, different level of qualitative expectation. Mirrorless IQ is quite good (at least for me).

3) Technology changes every year, or every quarterly, at least. How to be future proof? The limit is your learning curve and skills. It is like buying computer/laptop/handphone. Highly subjective to personal preference.

4) Different lenses for different occasion. Body can be same.
