Haha, was on CM until this afternoon that I went for PA. CM is so non-stock comparatively. I really like their Profiles feature (where lockscreen can be toggled between secured/insecure/disable easily) but it's a shame that automated changing of profiles are only limited by WiFi or Bluetooth trigger.

CM Installer is really handy (although it does give some hiccup on Windows 8) to start everything, from unlocking bootloader, getting root to installing recovery and ROM.

Tasker and Llama can't seem to change Profiles as it's a CM features. There's existing paid apps that claim to be able to bridge the CM Profiles to Tasker but I am cautious on that, as it is an old app and there's no reviews by Nexus 5 users. Well, let me hop around other ROM first before I decide which to settle down.

I am now on Slimkat and I regret not trying this out as my earlier choices. The real dark slim makes the UI elements either black or white. The black loading bar beneath the address bar in Chrome is just so sleek.

Just wondering if I should switch to ART. Dalvik on this ROM seems smoother and stabler to other ROM I have tried, namely CM, PA and Omni.

Reading some comments, I also have issues with GPS. Never get a lock at LDP Sunway, is it that too many cars? Struggled in KLCC area yesterday also, too many high rise I suppose. Why the sudden unreliability eh?

Hmm, I changed my DPI from 370 (Slimkat default) to 340 (which makes me have 7 icons on the dash bar), but somehow feel like going back to 370 but the new DPI refuses to be applied even though I reboot. Am I missing out anything?

Yup, that's what I am thinking. But I can just try to use it and see how it works out. Probably will only reflash if Play Store issue appears.

Mid-April. They ran into manufacturing issue (too many faulty units) so they have to push back the release date. Let's hope there's no more delay.

Yup, back them like from the 3rd day of the campaign. TBH, from manufacturing point of view, Pressy is dirt cheap. It's small and does not contain any complicated or complex chip or whatsoever. It's expensive if you think that way, but if you think about the potential that it can adds value to our usage on phone, I think the price is still justified. biggrin.gif
