I'll be going to Singapore this coming weekend, and I'm aware that ipods are a lot cheaper there. Anyone know a good place in singapore that sells them really cheap? I'm looking for a 60GB ipod video, and the apple shop sells it for SGD688. That's the lowest I've found so far.

err...i thought iPod controlled the price there???i mean u can't get cheaper if u go any authorised dealer...but not the same story if you go other shops that sell lots of mp3 player...but i don't believe their warantty thingy...for me i went Cineleisure at Orchard Road(because Wheelock don't have any 60g for me at the time)..

Not sure bout 60gb, but 30gb model singapore is selling it for $500 which is 200+ cheaper from here. If you have any relatives in Singapore, try getting the student discount @ $480.

hmm...it was $548 back January when i bought my 60g...got my Nano at $200++ there last week...

ya i think so...its cheaper if compared to malaysia's price...that's why always buy electronic stuff there...better bargain than malaysia...

So some AP phones company bought the phones at SG and sell in MAS for a higher price abit...

Can checkout either Funan IT center they had an apple store there. but the rest of the mall do sell ipod.

And also sim lim square. there is not much of a price diff between these 2 places. but bargain wise... that one pandai pandai ler.

There's one tip.

Bring along your any of your Singaporean friends to buy at the malls... they can see you're Malaysian by your language slang, bargaining method and stuff... so it's good to bring ur fren who can make you like one of the Singaporean citizen

I think now singapore havin GSS ( Grand Singapore Sales ) which until 27th july. Foreigner can buy item there with 50% discount.

Not all products got GSS, Apple are very particular in their marketing pricing... it's lukcy if you get an iMac for 2k+(Singapore Dollar) or else it would be 3k+
