MacOS X what happen to my icon?

one of my System Preference icon seems to be cacat already.....it was ok when i got my MB....but recently become like this...dunno what happen.....

it's the Speech icon under System.

any idea how to i fix it??

OT: what's the equivalent of Paint for Mac?? coz i wanted to draw a circle on the image but dunno how to draw.....hehehe

Maybe u might have installed a software which altered your speech icon. Btw the standard speech icon doesnt look like that !

yeah i know...coz it wasn't like this when i first got it....i forgot what i did and it was like this....

try to go to HERE to download Onyx..

for 10.4.7, please go to HERE to get Intel update or PPC update...

i'll try onyx 1st......

i've updated 10.4.7 via software update.....does that mean i have to download 10.4.7 again from apple??

FYI, i always download the update from Apple.com instead of using the software update. There's a few reason of being so:
- I can always use the updater later on, dont need to download it everytime. just download it once.
- I can pass it to frens that need it.
- I can update my other mac that's not online.
