Hi Guys,

Stumbled upon an interesting article detailing how 2 twin brothers experimented and studied the effects of giving up sugar and fatty foods. One will be on no carbs or low carbs diet and the other will be on low fat diets. Since they are twins, it will all boil down to diets rather than genetics. Doesn't tell much on what most people here already know but still a good read. Cheers!

No simple carbs I understand la. But this guy cut out fruits and vege. Only meat. Regardless who loose more weight, it is unhealthy. Loosing weight regime must be a long sustainable run and indirectly changing your habit to be a healthy one.

I always believe in balance meal
dont opt a nutrient entirely but lower it
used to be a carb phobic and was eating at probably jjst 1k calorie a day with training
now I am happily eatibg 1.7k-2k with training and the difference it makes is crazy
I opt for 35c/35p/30f

Carbs are not your enemy. Fat is not your enemy. Protein is not your enemy.

Excessive and frequent caloric surplus is your enemy.
Excessive caloric deficit and excessive cardio is your enemy.

That being said, even a caloric restriction on smarties and twinkies and you will lose weight.

Caloric restriction with nasi lemak and wan tan mee and you will lose weight. However i do NOT recommend this most of the time. It can be unhealthy if taken to the extreme.
Even i have started cleaning up my diet. Not chicken breasts and brown rice extreme but more in moderation.
