I'm a self taught person and been 3 years using services from AWS ( Amazon Web Services )

Since I develop private streaming video CDN, I found Amazon AWS infra is quite flexible and the price is ok.

The questions are, how many are you guys dwelling with Amazon AWS ? I think it's the future or current hot job.

If you're familiar with Amazon AWS, tell me what project that you use them for ?

For my case, I use AWS for develop private video streaming to terrestial broadcaster that shifted to online streaming.

Maybe if the number of bandwidth flowing to AWS Singapore is gergantuan big in size, that maybe open Amazon eyes to open a datacenter over here in malaysia.....

They just did open in Manila....The account manager in Malaysia already giving seminars in malaysia...well just hope

EC2
- nginx/apache
- streaming server
- transcoding job
The transcoding job server really expensive on long run

Cloudfront
- S3 streaming with RTMP
- Web Download to simulate HTTP Streaming node

I'm looking the best way to offload a very high traffic JOOMLA website
- what architecture should I look for ?
++ images all hosted in S3 bucket and distribute via Cloudfront ?
++ how about the database ?

I'm talking about a JOOMLA site that receive 20-30k concurrent hits at span of 2-3 hours
