I have a problem with my xbox 360 kinect. i can't play games anymore. my console required an update.
i try updating it but an error pop out. i try USB updat, xbox live Update but it seems none of them are working

What's the error? You shouldn't face any problem if you're using original console and games. If you're using modified console and pirated games, we couldn't help as we do not discuss piracy here.

If this console is modded then sorry we can't help you here as stated in the rule. Your best bet is to return it to whoever mod the console for you and pay.

I suspect its just a bad connection or something...or its JTAG...hahahaahahah...which means ur not suppose to go online....

Everyone are wrong.
This problem occurs because you have a modded xbox with swapped DVD drive. (using old model drive in new xbox, because new drive can't be mod yet, at the time of buying)
There's an update patch that will check the version of your DVD drive, because it's not the same, that is why those error message appears.
This update patch happens only ONCE. All the later update will never do this check again.

Your solution is to send the xbox to the shop and update to latest mod. You may need to buy a new drive (to fit with the new xbox), or just use the old one.
