QUOTE(aladdin @ Jan 28 2014, 07:31 AM)
from the past experience, if AW doesn't deny rumours, it is 99% true.
In regards to Draxler case, just fasten the seat belt, prevent you to jump up from sofa.
*
well, our current squad is still good enough, tho if can get the Drax, then at least we wont be shorthanded at the front if any injuries come along

QUOTE(me_kenny @ Jan 28 2014, 09:21 AM)
sad case that Arsenal and Sagna couldn't come in terms yet. .with all the excitement of signing Draxler but i am wee more anxious on Sagna signing the papers.

http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1694526/...ativesr?cc=4716

we now have a very good back four. .the best i would say and stats have been shown in BPL. .i really do do do hope he signs and stays. .

QUOTE(waruna @ Jan 28 2014, 10:47 AM)
While Chelsea and Man Utd already strengthen their squad, Le Boss not going to sign any player this January? Sigh... We desperately need striker right now.

Cannot watch match tomorrow morning, so all the best to our lads.. S'oton is not an easy opponent for sure.
*
maybe bcoz we already strong enough? tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

tho I do agree, signing new players can add depth to the team, but good players are hard to get during January transfer window..manu kira nasib baik can get Mata..and we need strikers? sure to be backup and challenge Jiru, but we have scored alot of goals from midfield, and we have Lord Bendtner..

Soton played well, and so did we in the 2nd half...we could have won it if Ozil's strike went in..I think the only negative from the match is that we'll be losing Flamini for 4 leagues matches. Well, he can be fresh for Bayern tie..

Arteta showed he still got the vision and can tackle quite well, But his pace is well off and couldnt keep up with Lallana for their equaliser..maybe AW should be looking for a young energetic DMC,
maybe at the WC2014..

Podolski was only given like 8 minutes to play, so he couldnt really show his true abilities..and Ozil's run passing 3-4 defenders was awesome, wish he can do this at every match

Heard Kallstrom is a loan deal. Good move in getting experienced players to strengthen the midfield

QUOTE(sigheart @ Feb 1 2014, 11:26 PM)
Ok the stories seems to be twisted our of proportion. Kallstrom arrived with a minor back problem and will be out for only for the Crystal Palace match but should be back for the next. He did not pick up the injury in training.
*
he was brougt in for cover, so no need fret so much...tho wish could see him play tomolo..had him in my Arsenal team several CM editions ago..

QUOTE(sigheart @ Feb 1 2014, 11:28 PM)
Elsewhere Draxler has admitted on German TV that he had great offers to leave but Schalke were the ones that stopped and blocked any move for him.

So for those blaming Arsene for this, go fly kite.  whistling.gif
*
worry no bro, he'll be here next season, if not him, I'll settled for Reus..

why not...dun Arsenal in search of a new waterboy?

kallstrom deal is a loan one. if AW feels he will be out long, can easily terminate the deal and ship him back to Moscow...

dont get too exited over Ox here. like someone said, it's CP at home. he still has much to prove. if i remember correctly, players like mark randall, sanchez watt etc played well for us in a few games. but where are they now?

but kudos to Ox smile.gif
*
QUOTE(sigheart @ Feb 3 2014, 02:09 AM)
Key word is future. Not now. So you want to win the BPL in future and not now?

I stand by Arsene's decision of playing Arteta and Flamini in the Southamption match.

Right now I still don't see the OX as central midfielder for the crucial games. We can slowly nurture him in that position against the lesser teams (Arsene has shown that vs Coventry and today) for the future but at the moment I'd put him as a CM option behind everybody else.

As a winger? Hell yes, but not a CM at present.
*
Ox for the future? C'mon lar, he is already a made-man for the present. he looked ineffective in the 1st half and excel in the 2nd half bcoz he was given the freedom to make those darting runs in the 2nd half. great all round performance by the team, esp by the Ox

I vote for a draw result between mcity n chelsea. agreed it could further the gap for the top spot yo!

Hey, I love to see Ox as a flanker. Miss his driblling skills and crossess. Afraid if put him as CM it will slow his tempo/pace tht he already got.

Btw..let enjoy the summit guy!
*
but I can see Ox using his pace and dribbling skills to break well-organised hard defence like Palace last nite..so, at least we got option of good wingbacks (Sagna, Gibbs, Monreal). good passer who could deliver defence-splitting passes (Ozil, Cazorla), forwards who can hold the ball and scores (Giroud) and now someone who can ran pass the defence with pace from midfield (Ox)..not to mention the other players currently injured (Wilshere, Ramsey..and errr..Kallstrom)

How many times AW has beaten JM? Even the bookies are convinced JM is unbeatable for AW

Everytime pundit talks about this record too. It's painful to know but this is the fact!

FYI, JM never lost an EPL home game. Do your maths!

We will know the result on 22nd March.
*
yeah, football matches always based on whats on paper..heck, mensiti won last nite bcoz they never lost at home..but how chelsea won lak...ini sudah menentang realiti donia casa....

for 2014 and including our match against CP, we won all our home matches by 2-0, bar FA Cup 4-0 win against Coventry..so, we no longer "1-0 to the Arsenal" but "2-0 to the Arsenal"?

our away form can win us the title. And with koscielny and BFG stay fit, there's no reason why we can't keep on believing. We did well with both of them complete 90minutes. we will do well again. lets start with anfield battle!
*
for anfield battle, better start with same players and formation, so Ox can take advantage of Gerrard's slower pace..

I think we can get a result from Anfield..even tho they got good attacking option in SaS, but their midfield not that good, defence not that solid, harap Mignolet jer, then itu Seketul suka foul opposition players
