He used to be a really good midfielder for Lyon and Sweden. Was one of the cornerstones of Lyon's spell of dominance in Ligue 1 as well some years back.
Now at 31, not so sure though.
I guess most people are just worried on whether he is already past his peak or can he still cut it in the BPL at the age of 31.
If we had signed him 3 years ago people would've called it a fantastic signing.

This is key. Previous seasons, we dropped way too many silly points against lesser teams. The league is a marathon. Not dropping silly points is key to winning it. Only 1 point separates each of the top 3 teams, still too close to call.
Only consolation to yesterday's game is that it makes Europe that much further away from United

comparing the other title contenders' attacking unit with us, i realized we lack speed. city have navas/aguero going for them, liverpool have SASAS, utd have rooney/young, and chelsea have willian/hazard. with walcott out from the lineup there really is no clear sprinter in the team. and that game disp we're just one type of player away from being a complete team, the suarez/aguero type. we honestly haven't had that since henry, arshavin and cazorla are the closest that we have recently, but they're too easily outmuscled. but we've done well so far without that kind of player, i hope we keep doing what we've done this season.
