Balancing about RM5 per tyre. Alignment about RM25-35 for full alignment.

hmm, where do u normally service your Car? Does the workshop also provide alignment services. If not, do they have some trusted workshops.

Most of the workshops will not con you on the alignment services, of course, many (if not most) will play the chamber nut but some go as far as to:

1) say that your brakes / absorbers are faulty when they are not

2) sabotage some parts and say that its faulty

so, do stay near your car when its being done, esp at workshops that you're new to.

Where is your location, if its in Kajang / Sg Long area, I can recommend a workshop that does not try to cheat you. They only charge market rates, some u need to negotiate price but will never play dirty.

Actually it could be less for your car. That was the price for mine running on 19" rims. They are definitely very very good and they will ensure that the car is properly aligned and the wheels are balanced. The whole process takes around 2-3 hours.

Nope, was doing a quick drop off during lunch. So drop the car off, went for lunch and came back after lunch. Never ever guess they will charge until that small weight piece also charge. Just want to rant here to blow off angry steam. I know will be expensive but never think until that level where the metal piece to Balance the wheel they also charge. Was thinking those are part of the cost but they told me spare parts......... Wow.. That metal piece now spare part.

For me Bro, unless I am familar with the place, know the boss / mechs. I never leave my Car unattended although its only a Proton.

Too many dishonest mechs around, saying that your brake pads worn, shocks need to be changed, etc.

At least, they did not pull out the camber nut or the 'satay busy' trick.

Yeah, was feeling lazy to go back to my normal workshop and was thinking this Lim Tayar have lot of branch so should be ok. Expecting to pay a bit more but not expecting to have to pay for those small weight used for wheel balancing.
