Yes, Waiting for Quad R9 290X or 780 Ti

Just for Info: I'm using Kill o Watt to measure power draw and it seems like my rig runs out with 1383 Watts power. yawn.gif

ReverseDark: Yeah, I feel like I'm using a Vacuum Cleaner, but in a gaming way, heehee biggrin.gif . Our family pays electricity bill up to RM700 in specific months(thanks to me who play 7 hours a day!

Yagami5159: Thanks, but I've seen better one before. He shoots 5400+ AFAIK, specs same as mine, albeit only different in GPUs. He's using OC'd R9 290X.

WiLeKiyO: I would take that as a compliment hehe... Hoping that my computer would Be a real oven so I could bake Moon Cake, hmm...smile.gif About the monitor, I'm searching for one now, actually two, but I do not the 1440p screen, just 1080p but with high refresh rate, 100Hz e.g

beter than mine, should be able to 80mhz easy  brows.gif memory clock u need go up 50mhz each time to hit limits  brows.gif
sry never try on amd card before, shouldnt the the asic like something above?

ASIC? AFAIK, higher could mean better OC's, though some users would doubt that cause they also have same GPU model with <60% ASIC quality and could OC quite well like other people on same GPU with 80 plus. It's quite difficult to use ASIC. rclxub.gif

My ASIC on 4 of them: 69.2, 88.1, 83.8, 77.5

BTW, so far ASIC support Nvidia Fermi (Series 400 and later) and AMD Southern Island onwards, if I'm not mistaken.

by way what u think ASIC ? [attachmentid=3836234]

This ASIC is for which GPU? Powercolor or Sapphire? Since you have two, it's either one. You should have two ASICs.

It's ok, tho. You could OC it a little bit with minor volt bump ( if you're planning on OC'ing it). smile.gif

KajumaO2 what's your actual Core clock and memory clock?
*
Being curious here. What app are you using to make this spreadsheets? MS Office? Oh, is Google Drive spreadsheets is supported here? Just afraid if other scores would not be shown, unless you're planning top make a Top 10 list, since all scores could be accepted, even lower than 100, if there is one. smile.gif

Still, Happy CNY all.

EDIT 1.42a.m: Wonder why Unseen83 scores on 1600x900 is lower than his 1080p, with same clock speed?

R9 280X toxic, just don't understand why gpuz not sensing my vrm1/2 hmm.gif
*
Does the VRM temps read correctly on older GPU-Z versions? I suppose you could uninstall the GPU-Z and reinstall it again. If the problem persists, you could be having an app bug. Report it to Techpowerup about your problem.

I have updated my score, this time CPU oc'd

user posted image

i5 2500K OC'd@ 4.7 GHz, GPU still have the same core and mem speed. 1331/1936. rclxms.gif
Just a bit diff, tho. I suppose CPU oc'ing wouldn't affect the score much.

Load temp is around 38C when idle and around 40+ under load for GPU. CPU is 15C and max i have seen so far is 30C
*
Wow, is that for real? shocking.gif Even watercooled wouldn't make GPU idles at 38C, especially with your card. I've never heard about GPU being LN cooled, CPU could but it should be in a negative value and a small diffs in idle and load temps.

I was hoping to break the 2k barrier by OC'ing but it's not my cup of tea, says my i5 and 780. I'm still messing up with the GPU, trying hard to get past 1350 core, but then comes the "Blue Screen of Doom", hehe.. laugh.gif

What is that card, kingpin, classified!?  shocking.gif  shocking.gif
*
It's just an EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti SC with ACX Cooler, model P4-2884-KR. I got it from Newegg's Winter Bargain Blitz offer. They sold at @ $699.99. Including the shipping fee and business days, I managed to get it at $770 (about 2.2k I suppose).

How long for the card to arrive, my my, 780ti so easy to hit 1.3ghz speed  drool.gif

About 2.5 weeks or so. I've bought it on 16 Jan and it arrive yesterday.
It could be easy if you use the Unlock Volt Mod with LLC disabled, though it can only be done on MSI Afterburner.

stable?

The CPU is 24/7 stable on 1.39V, idle @ 30-35 and load @ 55-65. It's watercooled.
I'm currently testing my GPU with BF4 and so far for about 5 hours, it's a hot 89 degrees but stable until now

evga card could unlock the voltage without flashing the vbios eh?  nod.gif so far ab best oc tools l had used, alongside with precision X
*
I flashed the vbios with the Modded Sky Bios so I could get volt unlocks. I get a base core clock of 1045 MHz and there are no boost clock for this vBios, plus my mem is from Samsung, so it definitely gives more room to OC. biggrin.gif
