If your memory can go to 1500Mhz, then it should be able to do 1600Mhz+ as well  nod.gif
it'll add some more scores
*
yeah, max it can go was 1650MHz and score still going up at this speed. Tried 1690MHz(Max in AB) and it'll crash. So I guess 1650MHz is the max since we cant increase memory voltage.

Anyway nice job TS, so when do you plan to open 1440p/1600p leaderboards? If you don't have a plan for that then let me do the job tongue.gif

Well honestly, I'll do it if the majority wants it, but hey if you want to make your own benchmark thread for 1440p/1600p, I'm fine with it.

Have a good night,
Cheers icon_idea.gif

weird coz I saw his early post scored 1589..well nvm maybe he did rerun the bench and got better score afterward..looks like I've to beat this score to be on top 5 1080p lol. If he OC his card then no chance already haha

ok suicide OC at 1220/1500 sweat.gif

Now now guys, lets not get hasty here...
cstkl1, he do submit the score in a correct way by following the rules I stated in the first post, and please don't simply point fingers, instead please provide actual proof that R9 290X aren't able to reach the score that high, as pointless flaming is also against the rules here.

But hey, I'm no at any sides here and of course I have to treat both NVDIA and AMD fairly.
So in order to solve this, I'll give Unseen83 a month time to submit a latest benchmark with similar scores, video or screenshots, as long as both sides are happy, if he din't submit anything or whatsoever by the end of May, he'll be removed from the Leaderboards.

shepard, could you do a benchmark with Unseen83 clock settings? see that whether you can get similar score or not as well.
*
Bro, I highlighted this since earlier age of this thread already and ask you to change the rule so that all submitters must follow the SS that I've done ONLY. This is because we can see in that SS whether graphics quality has been compromised either thru CCC or NV ctrl panel setting or whatever methods to achieve higher score.

I've ran multiple tests already even at higher core clock and yes unseen83 score is insanely unbelievable and not making any sense at all..can check back my previous comment on his score last time.

check out the graphics on your 2nd attachment bro, its clear to me that tessellation level wasn't at "Extreme". Please open up your CCC and check this area..should be the same as mine below:
edit: My score at same setting as yours only 55fps+ so 12fps different using same GPU at stock, same driver and same OS isn't right at all.

my bad.. i should put it on x64 tesselation?  cause at moment is on AMD Optimize...  wah if on x64.. i got really bad  score  blink.gif
[attachmentid=3947160]
here is not OC is Stock Core 1,040mhz / 1,300mhz

Add-on : so now with x64 tessel then i can OC my Gpu .. ? biggrin.gif ?
*
not a bad score, it's about the same as mine which perfectly makes sense because mine was 55.1fps. But you should just leave it to AMD optimize instead and no need to set to x64, Application will do the rest and for this case Heaven 4.0 extreme tessel will kicks in which I believe equal to x64 tessellation level.

cstkl1 was right, our 290x score much2 lower than 780ti because of tessellation in this benchmark. It'll be different though when gaming so nothing to feel bad bro...290x tri-x is still one hell of a card, at least for now laugh.gif

Your score kept getting better and better.  drool.gif
Did you watercooled it?
*
Its just aftermarket cooler smile.gif, my previous score was from a reference 980 and this one is G1 Gaming 980 which Gigabyte guarantee on its OC potential due to their "GPU Gauntlet Sorting" for all G1 cards, I even saw a review where this card can be pushed even higher(200++MHz) where I can only maxed out up to 180MHz core without any crashing etc.. but overall its a very nice card, but sadly even a single highly OC'ed 980 still not powerful enough for 4k gaming

QUOTE(raydenex @ Jan 29 2015, 07:41 PM)
I'm impressed Shep, I gave up after breaking 1900 score, anyway my reference card was already at its limit in terms of how much further it could overclock. Still darned happy with what it could do.

That base/boost clock on G1 980 is pretty beast. Sure as hell won the silicon lottery.
*
Thanks, yeah agree with you. A reference 980 more than capable to satisfy our current gaming needs up to wqhd res+ultra setting+AA thumbup.gif. Last time I ran heaven with 344.75 whql driver and scored much lower than this(same clock), but now with latest 347.25 driver seems like Heaven score increased quite significantly..maybe you can try it also smile.gif
