QUOTE(aidlover @ Feb 25 2014, 10:12 AM) its not a major dealbreaker. personally i prefer rear drum brake which save hell allot of money. Drum brake pads last much longer than rear disc brake pad and for that tiny car horse power, how fast can u go........just wanna know why they have disc brake for City now but remove it and downgrade it back to drum brake in the new City |

What's wrong with drum brakes? The car that only produce 120hp for rear drum brake is more than enough and you get to save up on rear brake maintenance because is cheaper to maintain. You should worry about VSA/ESP. This feature is more important and it's a must to have for every car safely feature. The E and V spec come standard VSA. In addition 6 airbags for V SPEC. it's a good deal.
Almera vois doesn't even have this important safety features and not even altis 1.8e and 2.0g has it. This post has been edited by alxdc: Mar 11 2014, 07:04 PM |

QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Mar 28 2014, 03:32 AM) For Honda, it is all under a package (function) called VSA. ABS is on all wheels (for 4 discs brake model), EBD is on all side. TCS is achieved by combining various of correction. I think ronDON is confused with rear drum brake whether the VSA and all other safety feature work? The answer is yes it work all 4 wheels even though rear brakes are drum. QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Mar 28 2014, 02:39 PM) Well that should fine then. Cause the articles I had last time, still no Honda models with rear drum yet Honda freed, civic hybrid, insight, jazz hybrid ckd are using rear drum brakes. There is nothing wrong with rear drum brakes when your car power is only 120hp. Most important is the ESP/VSA which this car is equipped with. E & V specs. |
