QUOTE(hontoni1983 @ Apr 2 2014, 12:00 AM) Just look at the door trim area, you can see the rubber insulator is not complete, just partial done, that is the reason when you close the door, the sound so hard....and I believe this is the reason the soundproof of the cabin not so good... That's why I was so stunned how come Honda become Toyota already (everything cut cost)... If they don't cut some cost then it will be difficult to give a more competitive pricing. Should start looking at the safety aspects of the car which Toyota is not giving for their Vios at similar price range.

QUOTE(kezman @ Apr 20 2014, 05:16 PM) my car issue.... haihhh, need to send to SC again... is this CKD quality issue? missing clip, both side... and the SC told me i need to pay for each clip... the fak??? If it's the same clips as the bumper clips then can get it from spare parts shop for about RM1 each (if Honda insists on you paying and they are charging more).

QUOTE(kezman @ Apr 20 2014, 08:18 PM) they charge it rm8 each. so yeah, im gonna buy from outside shop.. but what about the fitting? hehe Bumper clips are universal so no worries. The clips can fall off on its own with wear and tear from the environment like heat and all but it shouldn't happen to a new car and Honda isn't playing it nice in this case, after all the clips aren't expensive at all.

QUOTE(siamanggagap @ May 2 2014, 06:13 PM) BTW, i ask the person in charge at the ipoh service centre this morning about the sport rim. and the answer is still yes, the warranty will be void if u change the sport rim other than official honda rim. anybody know, the 3rd generation honda city sport rim can be fit to our ride or not? any other honda sport rim compitable with our ride like for civic, accord etc.? To make it simple, any aftermarket parts not by Honda will void your warranty. Example, even if you install a pedal lock and something goes wrong with your brake pedal they can always blame the pedal lock.

QUOTE(pobox @ May 19 2014, 01:48 PM) WTF really. SC: The 40KM sound was classified as normal because the new CITY is a "HALF Hybrid" car. Watdafug is a half-hybrid car, HONDA? btw, the SC gives free car wash + vacumm. Is it a CVT drone sound? Most cars with a CVT have this awful sound when accelerating.

QUOTE(longlong82 @ May 19 2014, 07:01 PM) Just done my first 1k service. No part replacement, just inspection. Is it ok that engine oil is not changed at 1k service? Coz I heard a lot of other cars they did change engine oil at 1k. Better to change it during the run-in period so I would suggest you to change it at any workshop outside. Just do a normal oil change (mineral oil will do for the first oil change) and use an original oil filter. They won't notice anything when you go in for your next service.
