FYI, Malsingmaps moderators are busy, and they might take from 1 day to 2 weeks to reply to you as stated in their FAQs. Be patient and don't spam them, else they will blacklist you. After all, it is still a FREE map and they only need your 2x POI contribution for it.


My registration took 2 days for them to acknowledge, and 1 day for them to give me my code after contributing, which I deem very fast and efficient. Maybe at that time, the moderator was not that busy/loaded.

MSM has a free map for GPS device, but outdated. There are arguments about duplicate contributions in newer map, but since newbies don't have access to newer map, how do we know it already exists ??? 

Then, there is another free map to view using Map Source (locked) in your PC, question is how do we sync the POI with our GPS device ? Do random one on one check between GPS device and PC ? 

Now, I use MFM already. Less headache for me as a normal user.
